Adorable peaceful studio in Arcata with walking distance to the plaza. Furnishings include a queen sized hybrid bed, cotton sheets, hypoallergenic pillows, full bathroom with shower and porcelain bathtub and toilet, large retro mini fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster oven, double burner infrared cooktop, dishes, pots and pans, coffee press, hot water kettle, water filter, silverware, bath & beach towels, desk, small dining table, chairs & cushions, Smart TV. The beautiful, newly renovated private studio is set up with all amenities for a relaxing getaway. The studio is 300 square feet with a large fenced-in yard. Enjoy the private grassy yard with patio furniture and gardens. 2 Cruiser bicycles are available for guests.
The studio is in a quiet neighborhood close to hiking trails, beaches, Arcata Plaza and Cal-Poly University. Arcata has ample excellent dining & coffee shops, shopping & yoga studios. Guests will surely find activities to entertain, and a thorough guidebook with many helpful local recommendations is inside the studio.
This private studio has a fenced, furnished courtyard and is in a family friendly neighborhood. Your host lives in the main house.
There are walking trails for running and biking with close proximity to Arcata downtown. Arcata is a progressive town with contemporary art, coffee shops, 5-star dining, beautiful, serene beaches and ancient Redwood forests. This was a cute little suite. Nicely decorated, Very clean, close to downtown Arcata. The host was excellent with responding to our questions. The quarters were a bit snug, but there was everything that we needed. would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay at the Starlight Studio. It was a perfect place to stay while moving my son into his college dorm. Cozy, clean and close to Cal Poly Humbolt. Had eveything I needed and host was more than accomidating.

If you need lots of space, this is not for you. The space is small but so charming and comfy. We would deffinetly return. There is a very creative feel with art work that is pleasing. The host has included great suggestions for dining options and areas of interest.

Stayed here for Humboldt family weekend and it was very walkable to school and to Arcata. Great, quiet neighborhood and the place had a secluded backyard. Everything you need was there in the galley kitchen, and it was a comfortable stay. Loved the local cat!

Sunny, clean, private little paradise

This little studio actually felt larger than it looks. Perfect for one or two people. The host is nearby and attetive but also allows privacy. The outdoor space was lovely. This host really thought of everything to make the stay easy and comfortable. I'd totally stay here again.

A perfect place to stay

Stalight Studio is brigh, clean and cozy. So many thoughtful touches, like coffee, mini-kitchen, French Press, plush towels and tasteful decor. Did I mention the bikes and water feature?

Cozy and comfortable

This place proves that good things come in small packages! This was a super comfortable place to stay while visiting my daughter. It was great to be able to bring my dog, but I will say the lay out is more suited to smaller breeds. Comfortable cleans and cozy.

Cute place!

I did a quick overnighter to pick up my son from Cal Poly and Sadhana's place was perfect for my needs. The unit is private and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchenette was stocked with coffee and lots of tea, everything was clean and I won't hesitate to book this unit again for my next trip up there. Close to the campus, downtown and the community forest. Communication was fast and easy. Great stay.

Overnight stay

We stopped over for a single night but everything was better than expected. Great price for the comfort and cleanliness. The bed and entire facility was extremely well furnished and very comfortable. We had a great nights sleep which is exactly what we needed. One of the cleanest and well kept facilities I’ve stayed at for the price.

Charming and peaceful

This rental is perfect for one person or a couple! Very thoughtfully appointed with amenities and very private. The neighborhood is beautiful and surrounded by little parks and trails, and is very close to Murphy’s grocery store and Cal Poly Humboldt. I honestly have zero complaints about my stay here and would recommend it for anyone visiting Arcata. Very lovely experience!

Quiet, peaceful, clean

Very pleasant and quiet neighborhood. Rental very clean and very reasonably priced. Only thing to fault is need to be careful not to overload electrical circuit. Could not get IPad to charge, but able to charge it at my daughter’s campus apartment. However, the WiFi worked well and I throughly enjoyed my stay.

Clean & cozy

This space is clean & private, excellent for one person, would be tight for 2. Everything is well-marked and easy to figure out. There is a binder with thoughtful suggestions of where to eat and what to do in the area as well as a bicycle to use around this bicycle-friendly town. The private yard is a little soggy though was welcome given the sunshine we got in the morning. Many thanks.

Cute, Private and Clean

My stay at this "tiny" house was very enjoyable. It is perfect for one person. The private entrance and fence made me feel safe and secure. The added space of the entry room and the outdoor courtyard gave me space to stretch out. The Wifi was fast enough for me to do some remote design work. Very nice touches such as tea, coffee, creamer and honey. I will stay here again when visiting Arcada.

Sweet little studio

This darling tiny guest house was impossibly well stocked and supplied, spotless and sweet. And unusual for a property of this size, there was a bathtub! A long soak was heaven after hiking for days. Communication with the owner was easy and very fast, and I felt very safe and private. There is a little garden spot to sit out with a book or a drink, and if you're lucky, you'll be visited outside by the cuddliest cat you'll ever meet. Thank you for a cosy, friendly stay!
