"The place was really nice in every way — relaxed and friendly staff, clean property, and reasonable prices. My only comment is that it wasn’t easy to find the location or the reception. We had to call for directions, as the postcode alone wasn’t sufficient. Once we parked the car, we had to phone again to locate the reception, but a friendly staff member came to our rescue. Now that we know where it is, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again."

"We had a lovely stay here over the weekend. The restaurant is fantastic, we ate here on three evenings and every meal was brilliant- great quality and taste. There is also a lovely breakfast selection as well, the Scottish Brie tastes nicer than French Brie in my opinion! The hotel is spotless and the decor lovely and welcoming. The staff are all so friendly as well. The only tiny point that they could do to improve would be to put more coffee and tea in the rooms each day, they only give you one sachet each per day and a set of random coffee pods which are not marked except by a colour ( we worked out blue was plain water, brown was coffee but not sure what the pink coloured ones were!) this is a minor point though . The hotel is great and we’d stay here again. "
