There was a cockroach up in the vents where the shower was located.
And then around day 2 of 3, there was a water leak in the ceiling which ruined some of my clothes.

The location is very convenient, not far from the subway and great shopping and places to eat nearby.
The property was lovely and clean however the walls are very thin and you can hear everything. There was also a damp smell from our shower and there was a smell coming from the toilet.

It was difficult to find a room option for Shilla Stay on Expedia which fully met our needs so we opted for the one which closest fit our wish for sea views. There’s something about waking up to the sight of the sea and the views from the room did not disappoint. We had a lovely stay!
There’s a telephone based queuing system for check in which did not accept uk numbers. Thankfully, one of the staff stepped in quickly.

Room wasn’t that clean and there was damage to the walls, most likely from luggage. However, the room was larger than normal which was the only positive. Staff were not always available at front desk. Location ok. No breakfast available even though website says there is.
