We came across a tiny snake! It was just a few inches long, red back, sunning itself on a rock in the middle of the creek.

Great little beach house that is walking distance to the beach. Walking distance to a little deli, and a market. Everything was as described and my wife and 2 adult children absolutely loved staying here. We were in town for a family wedding but will definitely consider staying here in the future. It's a great vacation house. Thank You!!

This place is in the perfect spot - right near beautiful beaches and a fun beach town. The house is nice and clean and loaded with goodies. The owner/manager communicated well. We would definitely stay again.

Summer Getaway

Great stay! The property is well kept. Super comfortable beds. Kitchen was organized with plenty of dishes and cookware. Backyard area was a lovely ivy walled hideaway. Amazing proximity to the beach a wagon for use to carry our things back and forth. Cottage was cozy but enough space for 2 adults and 2 teens to be together, and still have space. And there is parking! A sweet place for a nice vacation!

Excellent long weekend

This was the perfect beach house for our family of 3 adults and dog. It is one short blocks walk to the beach and good restaurants. Venus pie trap was great for coffee and breakfast. Pixie deli had delicious lunch, both had outdoor seating. The host made the entire procees simple and easy. We look forward to staying here in the future.

Beautiful Beach Vacation

I loved staying at this house! It's so close to the beach and to other amenities. The house is lovely, and it was the perfect size for a family of three, plus a small dog. I would definitely return!

July 4th getaway

The property was comfortable and cozy. The location is wonderful, walking distance to ocean and restaurants. The host was very responsive to our inquiries and immediately remedied any issues. It was a delightful stay and would return.

Wonderful beach weekend

We had a great time at this location. A 2 minute walk to the beach. Great amenities right by. Venus spirits has great drinks and food, coffee in the morning a Venus pie trap. We had a wonderful time and definitely will be back. Great stocked kitchen, nicely remodeled and nice bathrooms and the master bed was comfy. Cute backyard as well!

Loveliest Seaside Stay!

I took the kids and the pooch for a little vacation here and it was truly wonderful. The place was very clean and cute with new appliances and everything we needed. The beach and good places to eat were within walking distance, so we barely had to drive anywhere. The neighborhood was beautiful and the kids were so delighted. The manager was very warm and prompt with his communications. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Great getaway spot at the beach

My family and I spent a great Thanksgiving here. The house is really cute, an older pink stucco cottage. The kitchens and bathrooms have been updated and are modern and lovely. The house is less than two blocks from the beach and walking distance to a small market, nice restaurant and really good coffee shop with great pie. The hosts were responsive and warm - I highly recommend this house for your next beach vacation.

Rio Del Mar Gem!

We stayed for a week with our small dog and this place was wonderful. Our adult sons were very happy to find the extra bed in the alcove so they didn't have to share a room. The amenities were top notch, including very comfortable beds, an excellently stocked kitchen, great beach chairs, and even heated toilet seats. The owner was very responsive and helpful when needed. Highly recommend this lovely home with it's modern upgrades.

Wharf to Wharf

This was a vey cute and well appointed house within steps of the beach. Very comfortable for 5 adults. We came to run in the wharf to wharf. This was a nice short distance From Santa Cruz. The house had everything we needed. Updated Kitchen and bathrooms. We were able to take walks on the beach and walk To dinner. I would Certainly stay here again. 10/10!

Perfect beach getaway

Everything about this home is beautiful. Master bed was cozy. Updated features throughout. Perfect tub for a relaxing bubble bath. Cozy backyard space with lighting and a bin of stuff to take with you to the beach, which is such a short walk! The host was very friendly, easily reachable and helpful with all of my questions. I will be coming back, for sure!!

A wonderful welcoming pink stucco stay! This property looks just like the photos! Cleanliness top notch, heating and cooling systems, washer and dryer, tv, all excellent! Comfortable beds, well furnished kitchen with coffee pot, electric kettle, air fryer, and all the dishes and utensils you would need. Instructions and local suggestions very clear and helpful. Mr. Salari is a very kind and helpful host. A contentedly happy stay!

Fantastic home with lots of amenities. Very close to the beach. Nice coffee shop, deli, convience store and restaurant within easy walking distance. Many other options just a 5 minute drive away. Friendly people in the neighborhood. Felt vey clean and safe. Comfy beds and the home was beautifully redone. The back deck feels private even though the other gouses are fairly close.

Ideal location

We had a delightful stay at this vacation rental. The host was extremely responsive throughout the entire process. The house was true to the description and photos.. very cozy. The kitchen had everything you could need to cook up a nice meal, the backyard was a perfect area for our toddler to play, and the beds in the rooms were super comfortable. For those with young children, the host has a travel crib and high chair available for use. Most importantly, you absolutely cannot beat the location... a two minute walk to the beach! We have stayed in Santa Cruz many times, but this was our first visit to Aptos. As a family with two young children, we appreciated the quiet, sleepy beach town vibe. Rio Del Mar beach was clean and not overcrowded. We felt safe walking around the neighborhood with our little ones. We would definitely stay here again!
