This is the farm with the butterfly. Lavender season is at its peak in July and the harvest starts in the 2nd half of July.
Scarce Swallowtail Butterfly in a lavender field in the Luberon in Provence, France. This was a farm on the D230 / D943 from Saint-Saturnin-Les-Apt to Sault. It is a stunning field with amazing views - another photo to follow.

Apt is the ideal location for a trip in Provence because its close enough to everything. The city itself though, doesn't have much to offer; food after 9 pm is almost impossible for example. The best thing about this place it's the market! Every Saturday the city get completely close and the big market is everywhere! You will find everything from food to clothes, but the real stars of the market are of course the cheese, saucisson, lavender products and provence spices. If you are a market lover, look for this one! #market #delicious
