"This is a small town in Italy away from everything. 4 hours and 2 trains from Rome. This bed and breakfast (coffee and croissant in the Centrale Bar in the piazza below) may be one of only a few places here to stay. "The hotel is 600 m from Piazza Forgione, a bus station surrounded by shops that sell typical products like pasta, cookies, souvenirs, etc. This is very close to the Sanctuary. Breakfast is abundant and it's served in a comfortable dining room. They have coffee and juice machines, so you can help yourself as much as you want. The staff is very helpful and friendly. For example, I had to do laundry, so Giuseppe went out of his way to contact a laundromat and arrange for them to pick up and drop off my clothes. I also enjoyed talking with Costanza, one of the cleaning ladies. Speaking Italian helps a lot, so learn some before you travel to Italy and enjoy the culture."
