Located in a very quiet part of Apeldoorn with lots of nature around. We stayed one night in the family room that had 4 single beds which was a bit odd but did the job. A quiet, relaxing hotel to stay in and we all really enjoyed the breakfast in the lovely dining area.

We booked 2 nights. The rooms were newly constructed, but it smelled a lot of paint in all of the halls. The sound to the halls and rooms next door were pretty loud. Breakfast was expensive but pretty good. There were really good bikes for rent to use throughout the city. Location is really practical for the city as well.

Worthwhile

It was a cozy and tidy room. It has a nice bathroom. The only thing which I didn't quite like it that you need to step down stairs to the bathroom. But overall it is really worthwhile.

Good stay and we would be happy to return next time. Some things could be improved: - only one of the electric car chargers was functioning, the other should be fixed - nice to have a toaster available at breakfast time - juice at breakfast could be fresher & nicer - we asked for a mattress protection for the kids’ bed and all that could be found was a bin-bag. The service was appreciated, but it would be easy to buy a few proper fitted protection sheets

Nice older hotel that I remember from my youth, close to nature and only a 20 minute walk from downtown Apeldoorn. Pleasant, helpful staff. I enjoyed my stay and will certainly return.

Wonderful area

Our room was a little small but clean and comfortable. Restaurant was amazing and fabulous food. I honestly could live here. The area surrounding the hotel was peaceful and so beautiful 7/10.

This is a really tired and dated property that is in serious need a major refurbishment. The rooms were clean but the paint work needed redoing and furniture replacing. Also, we visited in August and - as there is no aircon - the room was uncomfortably hot all night even with the electric fan.

Initially we were disappointed in our room. For example, no suitcase bench nor coffee/tea. Very old appearance. However, we paid a marginal amount for an upgrade which was much better. More room. Tea and coffee available in room. Convenient to walk to our destinations, including the Grote Kerk and Palais Het Loo. Convenient parking for our rental car at no extra cost. We were so pleased we stayed another night.

Apeldoorn for en helg

Vi trengte bare et sted vi kunne sove den helgen vi oppholdt oss i Nederland. Rommet bærer preg av å være noen år gammelt og er litt slitt. Det var en litt for smal seng i forhold til hva vi er vant til, så det var nok en queen-size seng. I tillegg var det dobbeltdyne, for de som liker det. På badet var det badekar og såpe til kroppen i dusjen. Vi var der fra fredag til søndag, og rommet ble rengjort på lørdagen da vi var ute av rommet. Vi er fornøyd med stedet, men vi hadde vindu rett ut til hovedveien og den ble mer og mer trafikkert utover morgenen, så vi opplevde en del støy da vinduet måtte stå åpent for at vi ikke skulle få det altfor varmt. Frokosten var helt ok. Det var brød, pålegg, eggerøre, bacon, små pannekaker og litt yoghurt og annet tilbehør. Pålegget var ganske tørt i kantene og var preg av å ha ligget framme en stund. Alt i alt, fikk vi det vi trengte og kan anbefale hotellet hvis du tåler å gå litt ned på komfort. Hotellet ligger omtrent 20 minutter gange fra sentrum av Apeldoorn, og det er en park rett ved. Vi har inntrykk av at det var et stille og rolig nabolag, selv om vi ikke utforsket så mye i området rett rundt hotellet.

Heerlijk ontbij, kamer viel wat tegen

Ontbijt was heerlijk, locatie goed. Service prima, maar kamer viel tegen. Erg gehorig, gelegen naast de houten trap (zonder dempers dreunt dat erg door als mensen de trap nemen) en verkeer hoor je goed door de muur/raam heen. Water in de douche/bad werd niet goed heet. Kamer was heel goed schoongemaakt, maar er hing een muffe lucht, mogelijk door tocht/vocht? Was allemaal geen ramp, maar ben betere kwaliteit gewend van Fletcher.
