Do not stay here. We had such a terrible experience that we didn't even unpack or stay the night.
From the start, management was entirely unreachable—they ignored phone calls, texts, and emails. Upon arrival, we were charged $30 to park in the back, but when we tried to enter through the back door and rang the doorbell, no one ever opened it.
When we finally made it inside, people were loudly arguing right in the front reception area, making the environment feel extremely unsafe. The property is poorly maintained with loud, creaking floors and dirty carpets. To make matters worse, our room smelled overwhelmingly like cigarette smoke.
We got ready, left for a concert, and as soon as we got back, we checked out immediately. Save your money and safety—look elsewhere.

Very nice place! Classic old-style urban hotel! Beautifully appointed throughout and the staff was great! Maybe they could upgrade to 2-ply TP in the rooms, though?

We have stayed here about six times. We like the vicinity to San Francisco airport and the access to The Broadway for restaurants which is only five minute drive away. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The free breakfast is an excellent addition to our stay. We enjoy staying here so much that we will be back in two days time before we fly home. Easy access to freeways for going into San Francisco north or south towards Los Angeles, Monterey and Carmel.
The only sad thing is the stay next Monday and Tuesday will be our last visit due to age and health. Thank you Bay Landing, it has been enjoyable staying with you and as we fly back to the UK we will miss your hospitality.
