"I have always been very picky about my hotels, and wasn’t certain about booking The Hampton, but I am so glad I did. This was hands down the best experience I have EVER had with a kind, friendly, and helpful staff. While it’s true that this Hampton is not the newest hotel building in the area, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and it was a quiet stay. I stayed several days along with different family members during a family emergency and visiting the nearby hospital. They got to know us and our situation, and anticipated needs we didn’t even know we had. I am so grateful to have had such a welcoming place to come back to during such a stressful time. This should be no contest. Stay here! "

"Parking was crowded. We were welcomed into the lobby by a huge group of drunkards with liquor out on the tables, and we were half greeted by the hotel desk staff."

"Nice big hotel. Kind of dated. Beds were great! Staff was over the top with kindness and accommodating us! "

"Worst stay ever. Had it not been non refundable I would’ve left after the first night. We checked in and after getting kids settled realized the room was less than clean and lacking in basic items such as bath towels. House keeping watched me set out wet towels and then proceed to still leave them after I mentioned something to the front desk. The breakfast was horrible. The pool area had construction materials and garbage all over in addition to a broken pool ladder. When the toilet clogged I was given a plunger to go up to the room with. The stairs were closed due to construction. The elevator and lobby bathroom both smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. Multiple times we needed an employee and they were difficult to find and ended up being in a corner on their phones. When I brought all of this to their attention at checkout I was told “you could’ve stayed somewhere else”. "
