I have a good time at hotel Elisabeth staffs are very welcoming. Only one thing I dislike about it is I found a bug in my washroom and when I arrived the room wasn’t very clean and fresh. This area is a very small town. It’s kinda hard to get a transport and you need to have the hotel to get help order taxi ( price is high)

The hotel and the area around it were just beautiful! Also the staff was really nice! They didn’t have a straightening iron in our room, so the kind lady at the front desk offered to bring her own from home. That’s what I call customer service! Everyone was so nice, not only the staff at the hotel but also the people from that area in general. Haven’t met a single unfriendly person there.

Stylish comfortable hotel
Beautiful and stylish hotel, in a great location right near everything. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a triple room which had 2 twins in one room and another twin in a separate room, which would be great for families. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good location but bed bugs!
The first room we stayed in was large, with a large bathroom and a good view of the cathedral. However, we requested to change room because we found bed bugs on the mattress pad, which looked like it had never been cleaned or vacuumed. The walls of the room and the desk were dusty as well. There is also a step from the hallway into the room, which catches you by surprise when you leave the room. The second room we moved to was smaller on the same floor, but without the extra step going into the room. Both rooms were very spartan. Overall, the location of the hotel is very convenient. If we are to return, we'll stay somewhere else.

My stay was good overall. Room is spacious and clean, bedding, towels, complementary tea and coffie - all in place. Wifi speed was bearable. Check-in was easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem - two constructions in process right outside of the hotel, very very loud noise from 7am in the morning. The hotel of course could not do anything about it. The sound isolation on windows could not really attenuate it. This made my stay a bit miserable.

Great location
Great location in central Mechelen with excellent views from bedroom window. We arrived very late after a delayed flight and it took us over 15 minutes to get inside. Also one morning the shower was cold. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Noise from refurbishment in rooms above went on till late evening which would have been a problem for anyone needing an early night. Shame as we've stayed here before and the hotel is in a relatively quiet area. Air con not the most effective.

Hotel in good area and rooms spacious. Reception staff could be more friendly. Windows needed a privacy net or blind as looked directly onto outdoor courtyard seating area and into the breakfast room.

Family trip to Mechelen
Great simple hote with all the facilities you need. Had a room with a view over the Cathederal and town which was stunning. Would definitely stay there again.

I had room 416 and this is very large with separate "day room" with elecric cooking rings, microwave oven, Fridge, all cooking equipment, 4 seat dining table and "L" shape couch/convertable bed. The bedroom has king size bed a single chair and a large flat screen TV, The separate bathroom is very large and has dark grey granite walls and floor with bath, 2 sinks and a loo. The hall has closit and audio system with two very large picture windows looking out the side of the hotel. The room is more like an appartment. There is A/C in both the bedroom and the day room. The only down side is that with walls and floor being grey granite the bathroom is cold and dark. Also the bedroom floor is wood and has no rugs. You could not sit and watch TV from a chair unless you are on your own. As it was November the room/appartment was a bit cold. It is new, stylish but not friendly as a hotel. The hotels serves breakfast at an extra cost but not dinner. However there are plenty of good places to eat a couple of hunded metres away. Try the Lord Nelson for the feel of an English Pub but with quality Belgian dark beer and food.

Excellent room & bathroom Cooked breakfast not worth the 18 euros it cost. Water 8 Euros a bottle..Phone went missing, but not worth much anyway.

Staying on Business receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly on arrival and throughout my stay. Great door card access. Great views over a courtyard. Clearly a new hotel still, in a good way. Cupboards with doors which I prefer.
