Gorgeous ground floor luxury Apartment in Fishing Village of Crail

Crail Residence is a luxury ground floor apartment in a Victorian gable end building. It has been completely renovated to provide a luxurious and comfortable holiday. It is located in the High Street of the quaint village of Crail, but is set back from the road, which makes it much quieter. It has its own front door and a small terrace area which is south facing, making it a suntrap!
On entering, there is a vestibule and a light hall with a WC off. The bedroom has a king size bed and a luxury shower room with WC. The dining kitchen is spacious with a dining table for 4 people, handmade kitchen with Belfast sink, dishwasher, washer dryer, 5 burner hob, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer box. The sitting room is south facing with 3 large windows, flatscreen TV with freeview, DVD, Bose sound system, telephone, Aga log stove fire and very comfortable sofabed.
There is underfloor heating throughout the apartment which is like heaven!

Comfortable and great location

We stayed one night in Crail . The property was clean and comfortable . This is a one bedroom with a foldout sofa. The bed was comfortable . The one bathroom is small but functional . There is a well stocked large kitchen, that we didn’t have time to use. Crail it self was beautiful with great walking paths and views

Crail, alternative location

The apartment was wide and comfortable, in a good position. We have had some little inconvenient with the door but the host solve immediatly the problem. It's a right solution for staying in Crail.

A cut above stay in a perfect location

Beautifully appointed flat. Very spacious and comfortable. Right in the middle of Crail, which we loved. We were visiting our granddaughter, who is studying in St. Andrews and had taken a road trip to Wales. Our stay in Crail was to wind down and this place was perfect. Easy access, everything we needed and very responsive host. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Stay

Had a lovely couple of days at this apartment. Very clean & comfortable. Crail is ideal for a holiday break by the sea, with a great bakery, wholefood shop, supermarket, butchers and greengrocers. Would recommend. Good communication from the owner.

Clean, updated apartment in a lovely coastal village.

The apartment was nicely updated, decent location in a beautiful Scottish fishing village. The owner was available by phone on a couple of occasions. Check-in would have been simpler with detailed information on how to work the door handle. Also, detailed description on how to use the washer/dryer combo would have save us time and the owner energy costs.

Lovely small old store front apartment. Fully furnished with modern facilities. One real issue: access is not clear and is incomprehensible to Americans - the "key safe" is an "external lock box", not easily recognized, and the door lock is unusual when it comes time to relock. Insist on personal reception with host. All written instructions were in very small type on cards and not in the usual 3 ring binder - ie how to turn on hot water/heating: not easy to figure out at first. Host did come quickly after contact but stressful in finding him via accessing a Wi-Fi system at a nearby pub: ie we do not all carry local phones to reach him otherwise. Once we were checked in, all was good.

Great Location

This is probably the most choice place to stay in Crail, which itself is a lovely town with all kinds of charm. The place is within easy walk of the CoOp, Chippery, Golf Hotel, harbor, and several restaurants. The owners could not have been nicer!

Easy walk to walk along the harbor

A lovely place to stay that provides an easy walk to walk along the harbor. If golf is your game you can get to all of the historic links in St Andrews in a short drive (or putt if you're really that good!). Whatever you choose to do this is a great base to do it from.

Ideal location

Just a few doors away from our daughters house. It was perfect for "escaping" from crazy family house for some peace. Lovely and warm for southern softies.

Short n sweet

We were meeting family for a catch up. This was ideal it was central and had all the requirements for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend and if I can I would return for a longer stay in future. We also had a meal in the Golf Hotel which was excellent and in the morning we all managed to meet in the Harbour tearoom which is also excellent. Crail is a lovely seaside town and is so worth a visit.
