"The property was undergoing renovations but this was not distracting or problematic. The room while a bit on the older side was very well appointed and kept clean. The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The location was excellent especially when paired with the access to the Resort via the shuttle. I would highly recommend this hotel for good value. Close to KFC and a decent shopping area."

"The staff at Ladera is committed to making sure you have a great stay, and it shows in every touch point — from planning excursions to turndown service. They do offer room service breakfast but I recommend eating breakfast at the restaurant. Take the time to explore! There are so many cool features! "

"Beautiful resort. I love how they have the resort divided. An adult side (Harmony, no kids allowed) and a family side. When we had too much noise and action, we headed back over to Harmony and relaxed by the pools there. Rooms were nice. Great accomodations and services. The spa was fantastic. The drinks were strong, the food was decent and the vibes were flowing. We will definately be back."

"Everything was amazing until we left. Had a issue with transfer back to the resort. Im not sure who fault this is if it was the transfer company or the resort so I dont wanna blane the resort for this. Butter found another transfer and we made it on time to our flight."

"The room was super duper clean. And it was nice to leave for dinner and come back to your bed turned down. Staff was great. Just had a bit of a tiff with our butler day one. I thought the breakfast was splendid. I loved that they had a ‘shot’ of the day of potent and healthy juices! Loved loved that. The omelette station was our favorite and if you are a coffee lover their cappuccino was delicious. And I’m a very particular coffee drinker. Breakfast was our favorite meal. The exercise space was also great. As I exercised there practically every day before getting my spot in the beach,"

"I stayed at this hotel because the Bay Garden Hotel was too outdated, with old beds, and I didn't think I could sleep there. We switched to the Bay Garden Beach Resort, where we paid $600 CAD per night. It looked nice with its beach, pools, and gardens, but the glamour faded upon closer inspection. The price didn't include breakfast, which cost about $35.00 CAD per person, and dinner buffet was approximately $90.00 CAD. The first room we received was a "garden view" overlooking a construction site, with very saggy beds with an obvious large dip in the middle. After complaining about the room, we were moved to a pool-view room with newer beds, but the springs snapped when you moved. The linens felt rough, the blankets were Vellux, and one was torn. The bed cover appeared stained or dirty. The furniture was peeling, and the bathroom looked like it had recently been renovated but looked dingy up close, with cracked tiles and leftover towel rack hardware hanging off the wall. The worst issue was that we had NO HOT WATER. On our second night, the air conditioner started leaking water onto the floor, and when the maintenance guy came to fix it, you could see a large buildup of mould. I am not one who ever spends $600.00 a night on a hotel. I am happy with a Hampton Inn. I understand St. Lucia is expensive, if you get a great deal on an all-inclusive go, it's beautiful; however, do not pay this much for this hotel, it's not worth it. I must say the staff were very lovely!"
