For a 4-star hotel I expected more. The building and lobby were nice enough, and the room was clean. But the room and amenities fell short.
The bathroom was the worst part: the fixtures were loose and it was so dark by the mirror that I needed my phone flashlight to see well enough to shave. There was also a large crack down one wall that had been poorly sealed-over.
The main room had plenty of space, but there were a few issues:
- The room temp control panel was so bright I couldn't sleep on one side; after the first night I had to devise a way to cover it
- The TV was not included. Each channel would stay on for only a few minutes before a pay screen would pop up.
On the plus side: the breakfast (on the fifth floor) was excellent. And the room wi-fi worked well. The hotel location was also good, being close to numerous restaurants and coffee spots. But next time I am in the area, I think I will try something else.
