"Astir was literally across the street from the ocean. I did not have a full ocean view from my room, but I could see it from my balcony on the side of the building. It was a single room, so the bathroom was small, but the bed was comfortable. It was a lovely room for the price. The staff were very nice and friendly. There was a bar open in the afternoon/evening with a wonderful view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again. "

Old refrigerator; door did not close, freezer was full of frost. Very few patrons; good because cheap hollow core doors shut very loudly and marble floors very noisy. We could hear two people arguing on higher floor. 3 min walk to nice beach with an attendant bringing drinks. ...

"Unbelievable stay. One of the most scenic places on our entire trip. Our room which was of good size and adequate amenities had a patio that overlooked the pool, cypress trees, and the ocean. It was like being at an Italian villa waking up to that view every morning. The pool was also an incredible addition to the stay. The staff was so nice and helpful with everything. The place has a couple quirks to be mindful of. Parking is tight and limited so be flexible if you're coming in late in the...

The accommodation was basic but for the price it had everything we needed. It was clean, housekeeper comes daily and the pool was a good temperature. All in all, it was a great stay."
