"No garbage can only small one next to toilet, as we checked into our room used toilet paper roll outside of our room door and around the ave c property. Poor communication between hotel staff and guest, poor explanation of room location and type. Literally can hear everything the adjacent rooms. No sound proofing at all. Nice location great concept poorly executed. Oh and no microwave."

"Garbage cans around the beach area would be helpful. Directions on how to control the ceiling fan and ac. Otherwise all was good. Beatriz at the front desk was amazing!"

"The air conditioner in unit 104 kept making a loud obnoxious buzzing sound and kept us up all night. It wasn’t the normal sound you get with an air conditioner. The best part of the property was the beach. "

"Had an amazing stay, every one here was amazing the parking attendents, cowboy Buzz and others , the receptionists Megan Ellen and Angela, and the multiple house keepers who not only kept our rooms clean they were so friendly and kind. Staff mad our vacation wonderful. Our accommodations were very nice. Pool heated and always clean. Just a walk across the street to a beautiful beach."

"There are many different sizes and types of rooms at Tortuga Resort on Anna Maria, so pay close attention to the room description and location. We had a large, condo type room that was great, with a lanai and a view of the bay! The kitchen was large and had everything you needed. Table for six. Everything was clean. There are multiple pools and they have their own beach front, though you do need to cross the street, as you do with most of the resorts on the southern part of the island. Chaise lounges on the beach; plenty of beach towels; umbrellas provided in the rooms; wonderful sunsets; at least four restaurants within walking distance. Pavilion on beach seems wheelchair accessible. Old Florida feel, which I like. We will return!"
