"We were “upgraded” to Anna Maria Beach Resort due to a plumbing issue, which we initially appreciated. However, the room was not as clean as expected. We were tired after traveling and chose not to bring it up at the time. Around 4:00 AM, we were abruptly woken by a very loud noise coming from within the walls. It sounded like a plumbing or water-related issue, and we also noticed the faucet wasn’t working properly. The noise continued for nearly three hours before finally stopping. Unfortunately, between the noise and my dog barking, none of us were able to get any rest. While the location is great, this experience made for a very frustrating stay. not worth what they are charging. Don’t call yourself a “resort” if you don’t have room service or any dining options. At most, I would pay $300 a night "

"It was just ok at best. The beach is not private. For the expense, it was not worth it. The staff was very nice. It seemed advertised as something it is not. The truth is on and near Anna Maria island there is endless beach access points which is fine. However that isn’t what they advertised. Many mornings I would pull up a beach chair to look at the ocean and relax only to have a large family pop up a tent and 20 beach chairs and play their music right in front of me. That’s the vibe. Also it’s tough to walk the beach because people pull their chairs, sand toys, fishing poles, umbrellas,ect, ect right to the shoreline so no one can obstruct their view."
