Great stay

This was a great location to spend a week with family. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Our grands loved the pool. Short walk to the beach. Would stay here again!

Relaxing and quiet

I love how close this property is to the beach and Bean point. It was a nice surprise to have access to bikes to use as well. The back patio and pool were covered by shade so that was disappointing not to get to lay in the sun.

Bean Point beauty

We had an amazing stay at this beach house! The location is incredible, just a short walk to Bean Point. The home itself is beautiful and equipped with everything you could possibly need, including beach carts, coolers, bikes, and sand toys. The landscaping and pool area are lovely, and everything was very clean. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation spot!

Stellar Location

Beautiful house in the Bean Point area of Anna Maria (very quiet). Three minute walk to both Bean Point and bay side beaches. Wonderful.House has three well appointed bedrooms and a beautiful pool that is quite large for this area. Ample supplies are provided eliminating the need to immediately head to the store.Highly recommended for family vacation. We hope to return on a future visit.

This property was in a perfect location. Easy quick walk to Bean Point Beach. Communication with the owner and property management was easy as well. The pool was a hit with our kids!

Beautiful beach getaway!

This property was perfect for our family of 4! The location is literally a block away from the beach. The pool is very separate from the house and not easily accessible for little kids. This was perfect! I was able to not stress about my sassy 5 year old sneaking back there without us. We would definitely love to stay here again!

We absolutely loved everything about the home. Everything you need for the week is at your fingertips. The beach cart and toys were a huge help with two little ones. The location was perfect. A short walk and you have food or the beach, we picked both. The home was clean and perfect. We will be back.

We stayed for a week in September 2010. The house was well equipped and the pool area fantastic with a heated pool, ample chairs and sun loungers and excellent barbecue facilities, which were well used throughout our stay.The house is close to the beach, and the highlight of our week was watching the birds at sunset at Bean Point.There are restaurants within walking distance and breakfast at the Rod and Reel pier was a great experience. Highly recommended!!

Hidden Oasis

This is our second year staying at this property. We cannot say enough positive things about it. First, it is very clean and charming. It comes with ample amenities including bikes, beach chairs, ect... The backyard is truly a hidden oasis. The private pool is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping. Second, the property is ideally situated in a very quiet residential area; however, it is in very close proximity to Rod & Reel Pier and a very short walk/drive to the city pier and pine street stores. Finally, AMI itself it wonderful. We saw dolphins and/or manatees each day during out week-long stay. We even saw a sea turtle on the beach at night. There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities (snorkeling, fishing, shelling), shopping (lots of very nice little shops), eating or just relaxing.

Truly Amazing

I cannot recommend this enough, it exceeded my expectations. The villa was as described and had everything you could possibly need. I loved the fact you did not need to go out and buy beach brolly's etc., The location was perfect. All the restaurants were great. To sit on the beach and watch Dolphins & Manatees swim by was just something else. This island is a hidden gem and the villa was the perfect place to stay I have already told too many people! I would love to return for longer in the future. I thought I would come home talking about out 2 weeks in Orlando but no all I have talked about is how wonderful AMI is. You WILL not be disappointed. Gill and Kathy are very helpful there is also a guest book in the villa with loads of tips in unfortunately we did not get time to write in it. We did do a boat trip with Captain Sandra with Mystic Boat Tours and she had a wealth of knowledge which was priceless. We even nipped back to Busch Gardens for 1 more park day (only as it rained) stopped off at Ellenton Outlet on the way back for more retail therapy. I could live at Fern Cottage, thanks for sharing Gill. x

Great Location!

Our first time staying near Bean Point as our previous AMI visits were more central near City Park on the western side of the island. The location of this house is great, and we hope to return in the future. House is very functional, and the pool area is like an escape to a tropical island. We had plenty of room, and the available bikes were a big hit with our family. The board games were a nice touch as well. Our 5 year old discovered a love for Scrabble and Monopoly. We had a couple of minor issues (wifi was stalled when we checked in and the teens had mini meltdowns...a reboot solved the problem), but the property owner and management company were quick to respond. I think I should note (which may be completely obvious to anyone else) that the pool area isn't visible to the primary kitchen, dining, and living area, so we really couldn't multitask if our little guy wanted to swim. Not a big deal, but I thought I would point that out as it was something I didn't consider when booking the house. Check in process is old school - physical key pickup at the property management offices. All in all, great house in a great location!

Beautiful Home

Our overall experience was wonderful. The house is beautiful, the pool was mostly inviting after a long day at the beach. The owner was attentive, she answered questions in a timely manner and helped with a few issues that we had with the rental. The rental/management company leaves a lot to be desired. There were some issues that they were aware of when we arrived that were not communicated to us which was very frustrating. The rental company had very poor customer service. The pool had not been cleaned when we arrived(we assumed it was due to the Hurricane) after a few days we contacted Gillian and she had the pool guy to come out, only for him to tell us the filter had a hole in and one had been on order for over a week. The pool was never cleaned while we were there. However, Gillian did her best to accommodate all the issues that we had(even from half way around the world). I would stay here again, but not sure I would want to deal with the rental company.

The perfect destination

We spent a perfect 10 days here over Easter 2013. This was the first holiday abroad, and the first two week holiday for over 10 years, so expectations were high. We wanted a quiet location within easy reach of the Orlando and this property was perfect and ticked all the boxes. In fact although the photographs were accurate I felt they didn't do the property or the location justice. The house was immaculately clean and had every facility required to make our holiday fun and stress-free - more towels than a family of five could ever use, a garage filled with beach equipment (trolleys for transporting everything to the beach, sun beds, umberellas) and fishing rods - we spent a lot of time fishing off the Rod & Reel pier and on the beautiful beach so this was extremely useful. The children spent hours playing in the pool when it was too hot for the beach and they even tried to teach me how to swim properly! We drove to Orlando one day and Busch Gardens another day but as we had two nights in Orlando at the end of our holiday we really didn't want to leave the island for any longer than necessary. Highlights of the holiday were our proximity to the Rod & Reel pier where we had fantastic breakfasts whilst spotting dolphins, manatees and rays swimming by, the vast expanse of white sandy beach, ice cream at Two Scoops, a boat tour with Captain Kim, and then coming back to a property that felt like home.

Great location near the beach and with a pool !

Lovely house with three bedrooms. Short walk to the end of the street to get to the beach. Pool very private and heated. Kitchen was well equipped great communication from the host. Only downside might be for those that have trouble with stairs that you have to go up stairs to get into the house just FYI. Would definitely book again !

Perfect Winter Getaway

We loved this house! Everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, beach towels were provided, and the beds were comfy. We loved how close we were to the beach and Bean Point. My husband and grandson loved fishing on the point. They caught lots of fish that were catch and release. The house was close to the village and just a short golf cart ride away. The owners and host were very helpful.
