  • Newly Renovated Angel Fish Cottage with new flooring, beds and furniture. Located on the north, quiet end of Anna Maria
    Island, removed from condos, hotels, crowds.

    A short block away from sunrises on the bay and historic Rod and Reel Pier. Two short blocks to sunsets on the gulf and pristine beach of Bean Point, perfect for shelling, fishing, boating or just quiet time.

    2Br 1B, duplex sleeps 5(a king in master, a queen and twin in second bedroom)bright and roomy living space with updated kitchen, screened porch and private pool with fenced in yard. Great outdoor space , with a gas barbeque, perfect for family relaxation.
    Onsite laundry.
    Have beach/pool needs, beach cart, beach chairs, toys, umbrella.

The house was perfect for our stay! There was plenty of room for the five of us. The pool was nice after day at the beach. There were ceiling fans in the bedrooms, which doesn’t appear to be in pics. The beds were all comfortable. Easy walk to beach and restaurants. Would stay here again.

Perfect place to stay with family

We stayed for a week with 2 little kiddos. It was perfect and they loved the pool. This was our second time staying in this house and it was remodeled over the last year. It was great!

Little paradise

Relaxing stay

We had a really nice, relaxing stay. The location is perfect since it's not in a busy area so it's quiet, but also just a short walk/ride to places on Pine Avenue. The pool/outdoor area was nice to have at times we didn't want to haul everything to the beach. When we did go to the beach, the umbrella and chairs provided were a big plus. We never heard much of any noise from the family staying on the other side of the duplex so privacy did not seem like an issue. I would stay at this property again.

February vacation

This house was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 years and 9 months). The property is exactly as described and pictured. We loved having our own pool to use in the afternoons while our girls napped. We rented a golf cart and the location of this house was perfect to get anywhere we wanted to go on a golf cart. We look forward to staying here again!

This great place has everything you need to have a relaxing time. Nice living place , full size Kitchen with everything you need . We visited in December so thr pool was heated and at night lighted . It is a quiet part of the north shore on Anna Maria. Bean Point is a very short walk. Beautiful Sunsets and sunrises.

Clean, comfortable house. Quiet location. Easy check in and check out. Friendly, prompt communication by owner. Only a short walk to the beach and Rod and Reel Pier. Won’t hesitate to stay again if/when we return to AMI!

Wonderful stay at a wonderful place

We stayed at Angelfish Cottage for the 3rd time this time. After some of the appliances seemed to be a little worn out in 2018, the whole place has now been restored and is in very good condition now. Everything was extremely clean, the kitchen well equipped and the pool lot of fun. The communication with the owner and the location of the property could not have been any better. Even beach and pool equipment was provided in abundance

Cozy with all you need

If you’re looking for a very clean, smaller property with everything you need, this one is easy on the budget compared to many lodgings in this fantastic location. We had 5 adults and were out and about so much that having a smaller unit was not an issue. Kitchen is nice sized and updated. We had chilly temps, so I can’t vouch for the pool (never touched it), but it was serviced by a cleaning service twice during our stay so was obviously well maintained.

The property was very nice and we loved the private pool. There were a few crawly creatures in the house that needed dealt with. The bikes and beach furniture were too rusty to be useful. We were slightly disappointed in the island. Restaurants, beer and wine only, the main beach has no restroom facilities.

Perfect for us

This charming 2/1 duplex was perfect for what we were looking for. We didn't bring the kids but had we been a party of 4 it would have been perfect for that too. 2 large bedrooms with one having a changing room allowed plenty of space. The private pool and enclosed "florida room" were great for lounging around during our 4 day stay as well. The location allowed us to walk to the bay or the beach on the gulf within minutes. Most days we biked a few minutes to eat or catch the trolley to travel farther down the island when needed. Great value, owners were available immediately as needed. Definitely will come back with our children and refer with confidence that others would love it too.

Fantastic location, nice backyard, decent place.

Owners are delightful people, and were instantly responsive to any questions or concerns. Staying at the north end of the island is wonderful and right near the rod&reel is fun, too. The streets up there are great for daily walks. As for the house, it is just the way it was described and photographed. The only drawback, and enough of one that would cause to not stay agin was the shower and the commode. The folks at the MASH 4077th had better pressure and quantity and this was truly a drag. As for the commode, no malarkey should ever have to sit on an oddly short and round bowl(I will leave it at that, but it was a cringe every time you say). Both are easy fixes so men, please ask before you book!! Otherwise, we are grateful for them opening it up to us for the month.

Awesome Stay!

Wonderful stay!! No issues with water pressure, in fact, the pressure was great. Everything was in like new condition except the bikes and chairs are somewhat rusty. We did get one bike operational and the chairs were likely usable, but we had our own because we drove down. These to me are bonus items that are not always included anyway. The washer and dryer is a very large, new set that is shared. We had only one problem and that was the door sometimes did not unlock. We never got the key box open either (maybe wrong code), but just kept trying the door until it opened. My son had the magic touch for it.The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. We did not find a grill brush though and the store was out, so we used aluminum foil. Beds and furniture were very comfortable and the pool was sparkling clean and warm! Walls are thick, so we didn't even really hear the guests on the other side. With the foliage and fence it was surprisingly private poolside even with close neighbors around. The location is quiet and an easy walk to many gorgeous beach spots around Bean Point. The north end is our favorite because of this, but if you desire a little more action go to Bridge Street on the south end. The sunsets are beautiful no matter what Gulf side beach you are at and the sunrises are amazing as well. Will definitely try and stay here again.
