"Castaways is hidden gem. It’s small but has everything you need for the beach. The pool is great and spa was wonderful. There is a golf cart on property that can be used so that you never have to use your vehicle. On this end of island there is very little parking so that the beach is just two blocks away and is very private. Best beach on island. I can’t name everything that Dan and gander have stocked the home with. Best I’ve ever seen. "

"We were able to get in at the time they told us. The beach house was very clean. And very roomy. The four of us couples had more than enough chairs, beds, and kitchen supplies. There were seven bath towels there, which we didn’t even end up using some of themI’m not sure the ice maker was working, but there was ice cubes there when I got there. Someone thought the toilet off the master bedroom may have continued to run after we flushed it. But it only happened a couple times.We loved the place, especially the screened in porch overlooking the pool. And the pool was very clean. We had so much fun, we may rent it again next year."

"Very well equipped kitchen & furnishing were gorgeous. Extremely clean & great storage in bedroom & bathroom as we stayed for one month. Small pool but fun and utilized screened in porch for meals. Gas grill clean and worked well. A problem with the HVAC system occured & the property owner phoned & instantly followed through as manager was not available.Manager visited to chech in the next morning!! The key lockbox is not always an easy mechanism. The physical key lock is totally tricky to use. The keyless code was ten numbers like a phone number.i hope some or all can be altered for ease and safety. Despite these minor inconvenienceswe plan to stay at this beautiful home again next year!"

"The kitchen was well supplied as was the house, but for a week stay and not a month, but not really a problem. The pool was great and cleaned twice weekly. Very nice stay that we enjoyed. The only disappointment was that it was booked before we had been there one week out of a month. Most places give you the right of first refusal and it doesn't open for booking until it is less than one year ahead. We did not have that opportunity. "

"Within walking distance to the ocean. Nice front porch, nice master bedroom with bath and private balcony over the pool. Pool and hot tub was exceptionally nice! Enjoyed during the day and at night. This house is in a perfect location. Walk to restaurants, general store and shopping. At the heart of it all. We will definitely stay here again! "

"Overall, an okay stay.Pros: Comfortable beds, a decently stocked kitchen, great pool, and newer TVs.Cons: The location is far from the beach, especially if you are hauling stuff. Parking near the beach during spring break is tough. Biking is really the only practical option. That said, there were no beach chairs or a beach cart, which makes biking to the beach less convenient. Restaurants are about a mile away with similarly limited parking.Best suited if you’re planning to spend most of your time at the house and by the pool."
