This property is exactly as described and pictured. Great location in a good neighborhood. Code lock works well and we found everything in operational order. The kitchen has both 12 cup filter and kcup coffee maker and supplies! The refrigerator size and seating for eating is very ample. We enjoyed the covered deck with table and chairs outside. There are lots of different birds in the area, very cool. The garage was very clean as we used it to house and charge our bikes. We only needed the upstairs bedrooms and the beds were comfortable with nice linens. I liked the walk-in closet w/ natural light! All the bathrooms were clean and supplied w/good products. Lots of nice little touches to make your stay free special and welcoming.

Wonderful house, even better host!

Our family stayed here for a family wedding. As we were all coming from out of state, we were happy to have a place we could all be together (and save money by cooking instead of eating all our meals out). The layout of the house was perfect for us (no bedrooms on the main floor, one downstairs, and 3 upstairs). Our family took the "kids" room- my 5 & 8 year olds LOVED the bunkbeds! It's never been so easy to get them to sleep!One thing the house was missing was a can opener (we know how it is, they break, a guest walks off with it, etc). I sent Vern a message to see if it might be somewhere else. When we confirmed there was none, Vern dropped one off at the house with-in probably 30 minutes. I've never stayed anywhere where the host was so on top of my messages. We were allowed to check out an hour late, which was so helpful for my parents.The backyard is fully fenced & great for my parents' dog, and my kids absolutely had a blast on the playset. It was hard to get them inside!If you ever find a reason to go to Ankeny, I cannot stress enough how much you should stay here!

Ankeny Stay

Had a great time with family, the Vrbo worked great for location. Very homey and nice. Came with everything you need for a normal week stay. Very clean and quiet.
