We found the food in the themed restaurants great, maybe they could improve the food options for the main restaurant, especially for vegetarian guests. "This is a lovely hotel within walking distance of the beach. We had hired a car so that we had the freedom of going wherever, whenever. However we did do two excursions with a local tour operator and they picked us up from a nearby hotel. There's ample free parking on site which is great. The hotel facilities are basic but all work. Some parts do require a bit of TLC (e.g. repainting and updating of bathrooms) but all worked fine. Our room had AC which in the heat is worth the extra...
