"Wonderful stay at the Mitsis Royal Mare, the room and facilities were elegant and perfectly maintained and all staff were lovely and welcoming. We found the food in the themed restaurants great, maybe they could improve the food options for the main restaurant, especially for vegetarian guests. As in many resorts in Crete there were few stray cats and it was nice to notice one of the staff leaving some food and water available for them.
