"The room was excellent clean and tidy, but our room was just above the dining/ restaurant area they had loud music on from 7am which woke us up, the location is super with great views, we wanted to try catch of the day (fish) meal. Waiter told us it will take 25min but took an hour, but wasn't sure if it was fresh or frozen, lovely staff, and good location with great views. "

"We have been travelling throughout Sri Lanka staying in hotels for a couple of nights each time, this one was FABULOUS, from the moment you come through the gates, you feel that you're somewhere special, you are then presented with a beautiful turn of century colonial house, the room was HUGE with high ceilings and the biggest antique four poster bed you've ever seen, and matching furniture, the fully modern bathroom is accessed through and old antique door, and the waterfall shower was superb. We dined at the restaurant twice and found the food very good and well priced, we had opted for the continental breakfast, which was again very good, very highly recommended"

"While the property is a lovely looking boutique hotel it lacks one critical thing. A restaurant. I don’t know how I overlooked this fact or I would have simply booked at another property. Not to mention the young man who checked me in acted like he couldn’t find my reservation. Luckily my driver stepped in and assisted. "
