Great place for families

The property was just as advertised, clean, and well stocked. There was plenty of space for sleeping and relaxing after an active day on the mountain. The deer that visited every night was an amazing sight to see.

Great family vacation!

This is the 2nd year we and another family have stayed here. It is a perfect place. Lots of places for the kids to sleep and plenty of room to hang out. Also, 2 masters which is great for the 4 adults. Kids love the snowy area out back. We were very lucky to get a powder day during our visit. I know we will be back!

Great time in Angel Fire

House was great! Located close to skiing. We loved the wood burning fireplace and used it constantly. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for 10 of us. Kitchen was well equipped. We saw deer at the front door each morning. Great stay and would use it again!

Nice getaway ahead of holidays

We enjoyed staying here very much. The kids really liked the bear theme, dog pillows, etc and really enjoyed the electric piano. The kitchen had everything that you need to make a variety of meals. I liked too that the property was pretty easy to get to as we came after a snowfall. The owners were super responsive when I was having issues with the TV and very friendly overall.

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood near town

Overall this was exactly what we were looking for. The property is perfectly sized for a family, neighborhood quiet with many nature lovers, and plenty outdoor activities to do in the nearby small town. It is a short walk to the small nearby lake, had lots of deer in the woods, and the house had plenty of games and activities for the kids. We all enjoyed ourselves in our quiet rustic retreat, and still had an opportunity to watch a movie and use WiFI on the rare occasions we needed to use it. I'd definitely return again.

Away from the heat

We were very pleased with the house near Monte Verde Lake. We were able to walk to the lake with the dog as well as several other trails.The house was well equipped and spacious. The surroundings were quiet even though there were neighbors close by. The deck was our favorite place to hang out and watch the sky or read a book. Thank you Tera for renting to us.

Angel Fire Oasis

Such a great property - tucked away but still close to everything. The house has a great layout for groups (even though we were just two) - with bedrooms on the first and second floor. The windows bring in great light and there were a plethora of towels to use (what I really need at the end of the day!). Responses from the owner were super prompt and I would love to stay here again - just a great house with all the amenities that you need at your fingertips. I also appreciated that there were little notecards telling me how to use the internet, tv, etc so I didn’t have to go exploring.

Great for Families

This house was perfect for two families on our New Year's ski trip. The house was cozy but spacious enough for everyone to have their own space to sleep and play. The kids had a blast sledding down the hill in the backyard, and it was only a five-minute drive to the ski resort. Our only issue was the (lack of) heat in the bunk room. But there were extra blankets in the closet to keep the kids warm at night. The living room was also chilly, so bring plenty of fire starter to keep a fire going every evening.

Great Time in Angel Fire!

We had a great time in Angel Fire for Spring Break! Our family came with another family and stayed in Tera's house. It has a great setup for our group. We had a total of 4 kids and there was plenty of room everyone. The two kids rooms were great and the kids loved "camping" out on the upstairs landing! The living room was spacious and allowed us to all be together but not on top of one another. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay with dishes and pots and pans. What was really nice was having a front and backyard. The back still had snow on the ground so the kids played outside a lot and burned off some energy. We really enjoyed the house. The drive to the ski resort was minimal and worth it to have some outside areas. It was a great location! The trash situation (having to drive it to town - a 5 minute drive) - was less than ideal, but ended up not too much of a problem. The guys drove it to town at night and picked up dinner! I wish there had been a grill, but it was not essential. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great place.

Great locations, house with great layout for larger groups - big dinning table! Large living area.

Larger rooms, larger bedrooms and great layout is so important for larger family gatherings. The location just a few miles from angel fire skiing was beautiful as well. We were greeted by dear every night. Good patio porch. Very safe neighborhood. Was a last minute booking, but the result was as if we knew and planned way ahead. Communications to get access was great as well as local questions. We will book this location again!

Beautiful family cabin with all the amenities you would need.

We enjoyed our stay for the weekend. The drive was plowed so easy access to the cabin. Wood was stacked by the deck and wood burning stove kept us nice and toasty. Heater works great if you don’t want to use the wood burning stove. Enough seating for us to watch tv in the living area. We would stay here again.
