Perfect Family Retreat
We rented this amazing mountain cabin to celebrate my mom's 75th birthday. The cabin provided enough space for each individual family with a large living room and dining table to gather together, play games and eat. The views are spectacular from the deck and hot tub. The cabin provided everything we needed in the kitchen for the large meals we prepared. The service/owners were responsive and accommodating. Great getaway spot!
Wonderful house with an awesome layout. -3 degrees and no problem staying warm inside. Short drive to Angel Fire is so worth what you get with this property with so much outside space to explore and hang out. Communication and detailed instructions from owner was amazing. Thank you for the memories!
Our stay at the beautiful cabin was an absolute delight.
The cleanliness of the house was truely exceptional, and the level of comfort snd and coziness surpassed our expectations. Its evident that a great deal of care and attention to detail went into maintaining the cabin. Kitchen spacious and well stalked with supplies from extra trash bags, soap to paper towels, which we normally would have to purchase.
As city slickers, we were nervous about operating the wood burning stove
( which is used to heat the home) since our ability to light a fire consists of flipping a switch! However, there was a supply of fire starters and plenty of wood. We loved it and relish the cozy ambiance.
A notable aspect of our stay was the excellent communication from the homeowner, Chris. His updates and efforts to ensure we had everything we needed were highly appreciated. Not only did he keep us well informed about the amenities of the house, but also went above and beyond by providing weather updates!
Tip. YOU MUST HAVE 4 WHEEL DRIVE during peak season. Our friends had snow mode and couldnt make it up the small slopes. Thankfully kind neighbors helped.
Overall, our experience was not just a stay but a memorable and enjoyable retreat.

Loved it!
We had a great time and loved everything about the house!
Our family members came from different directions and with virtually no cell phone service, we couldn't communicate our ETAs, etc. But once we all finally got to the house, we had a delightful time.

Great Family Trip
The house was as advertised. Very clean and comfortable for our Easter break visit. Detailed instructions were provided on everything needed to make our visit a great one. Chris did a great job communicating. There was a major fire across the mountain to the east and Chris helped us keep up with news about its spread. The land line phone in the house (no cell service for our carriers at the house) was a definite asset to make calls for operating hours at restaurants, etc. Also, the county emergency service phoned prerecorded fire updates.
Lots of deer and elk in the vicinity of this very quiet area. One of my grandsons enjoyed some gold panning along the Red River just north of Red River town limit and along the Cimarron River a few miles east of Eagle Nest along Hwy 64.
A great family visit for us.
Went to Angel Fire for a ski trip with friends and had a wonderful stay here. 10 minutes from the mountain/town, super cozy and roomy home to enjoy. Would definitely come back.
We joined with friends for a ski trip. There were 11 of us and the house was PERFECT! Plenty of room, clean, great location not too far from ski resort but still private! Owner was easy to contact for any questions. Would definitely recommend!
Great house, beautiful /convenient location, and super responsive host. Six kids loved sleeping/hanging in the media room after full day of outdoor fun. Kitchen, dining, living space are perfect for our family of 11. The host was exceptional responsive as needed. We made special memories and would definitely return.
The overall stay was the best ever. My wife and I work EMS/Fire and Own and operate a restaurant. I was secluded and was just what we wanted. We were able to kick back and relax. We will defiantly be staying there again in the future.
Beautiful property, had a great time, cabin provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. Property manager answered all questions and concerns promptly. This will stay as a favorite.

Beautiful home surrounded by beautiful nature
We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend enjoying this beautiful home in Angel Fire. The house has a rustic cabin feel but all the modern comforts. The hot tub was delightful under the stars, the kitchen was plenty big for us to cook for our group of 5 adults and 7 kids, the bedrooms were all spacious and comfortable. The property was great for the kids to run around and explore. We found perfect hiking just a few minutes up the road. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay in the mountains.
The location and house were fantastic. Chris was the ultimate host by having the wood burning stove on and the hot tub heating up ready upon our arrival. Even though the kids wanted to ski, we sheltered in place. The grandkids were able to sled down the hill on the property while we sat on the back porch watching them. It was our first family vacation in five years since our boys married and moved off. We made wonderful memories and are planning next years trip. I would recommend this house to everyone.
Awesome cabin and the owner was amazing to work with!
Beautiful home! We had 4 adults, a teenager, a 7 year old and a 3 year old and we ALL had so much fun! Great place for sledding! They have a wonderful media room, where we watched a movie each night and played games. We cooked 2 large meals each day and the kitchen was perfect! We would definetly stay here again!!
Best experience I have ever had! The house was fun and a great place to enjoy some R&R! The driveway made the best sledding hill. Iβve already referred to several friends!!! Canβt wait to go back!!
The home was fully stocked with nice furnishings and kitchen items. Could have used more towels, since we had all women on this trip. :) Outside of that, location was quiet and peaceful and we were able to enjoy the weekend and spend some good, quality time together, which is exactly what we intended to do.
Great place. A little ways from Angel Fire but, close enough to make grocery runs if necessary. Easy check In and check our process. I will go back again for sure
