"The Place was in a perfect area. I enjoyed taking the dogs to the Monte Verde Lake daily. It was a very short distance from the house. We really appreciate ibeing able to bring our two furry friends with us. My mom and I enjoyed a few days of peace and quiet. Cheryl was very quick to get back with us through texting whenever we had a question. We would definitely stay here again."

"Great two bedroom condo with convenient parking right outside the front door. Nice open floor plan with kitchen and living room. Get accommodations. Great experience with the owners three minutes from the grocery store and gas one minute from a pub and a pizza place two minutes from the base and a Mexican restaurant. Great location."

"Our stay at Grinning Bear Lodge was absolutely perfect. The cabin itself is stunning, featuring high-end luxury accommodations and beautiful New Mexican decor that makes you feel right at home in the mountains. We were especially impressed with the kitchen; it is truly "fully stocked" with everything a cook could need.One of our favorite parts was exploring the trails right around the cabin—the hosts even provided hiking sticks, which was such a thoughtful and helpful touch! After a day of hiking, the hot tub and jetted bathtub were the ultimate way to relax. If you're looking for a peaceful, upscale getaway in Angel Fire, this is the place to be. We can't wait to come back!"

"Everything was amazing with the house and the host. I had so many questions and Brendan responded within the hour. The house was beautiful and within 3 minutes from Angel Fire resort. The year is fenced in, and had two different play sets for kids in the front yard. We enjoyed watching the prairie dogs and got to see Elk and walk through the property in front of the house. Loved every minute of the stay. "

"We had the best time and they weren’t kidding about the beautiful view! We chose a bad season to attempt to ski in and ski out from this location though and it was a hike to and from Heading Home. It’s tough to tell if it truly would’ve been ski in/ski out with snow, but the slope was close enough to walk to. Space was nice for gathering with two families of grown ups and hand-feeding the deer each evening was a lovely bonus! It was unseasonably warm when we visited so we didn’t get to try the fireplace, but we did get to try the fans upstairs! All in all, a great visit!"
