Ideal place to relax in nature in a Greek country house providing all the comforts you need. Located in the village of Matesi, 17 km from Andritsena ,40km from Dimitsana in central Peloponnese and 87 km from Kalamata Airport. You can enjoy excursions to rivers, mountains and beaches of western Peloponnese.
Archeological sites, castles, and ancient churches in the area and surrounding 40 km. Breath-taking beaches and waterfalls to west and south. Lots of forests, rivers, and amazing open mountainous areas. This was once a highly civilized area, as you will see from the ancient amphitheaters and temples.

Holiday in Greece

A wonderful place to completely unwind. Beautiful house with all amenities, multiple perfect seats so you can always find a lovely spot to dine or just read a book. The pool is of course "the icing on the cake"! A refreshing dip with a beautiful view over the valley.

A little paradise in the mountain

If your planning to visit the PĂ©loponnĂšse you can’t go wrong with this house! Up in the mountain at the end of endless small winding road you will find that little paradise. The house is just amazing, it has everything you need and a lot more! The pool, the rooms, the huge dining place and the master bedroom on the second floor are jaw dropping. You won’t believe the view you have from the balcony of the master bedroom, I’m having goosebump just thinking about it! When you get there you will be greeted by Violeta and Maximus who takes cares of the house and the guest, some of the kindest people we met in Greece. And for all the booking and communication Anita is super helpful. Just make sure you have some grocery’s with you before getting there because the closest store is outside the village. A+++ truly recommend !

Een droomplek

Wat een geweldig huis. We verbleven hier met 5 personen. Heel groot huis, de bovenverdieping met master bedroom is een juweeltje. Zalig terras om te ontspannen met een fantastisch uitzicht. De eerste dag was er een probleem met het water en kwam er amper water uit de douche. Maar.dat kan gebeuren, extreem droog en warm dit jaar. Wij genoten van het zwembad en het terras en deden een uitstapje naar Olympia op een uurtje rijden. Ook de Loussios kloof is een aanrader met de kloosters. Ga wel in de voormiddag want tussen 13u en 17u zijn de kloosters gesloten. Er is geen wasmachine maar Violetta doet de was voor je. Uitstekende wifi, 2 grote TV's, mini vaatwasser, heel veel kookgerei. In de 2 kleinere kamers geen airco dus die worden wel erg warm. Authentiek huis, spreekt tot de verbeelding. En het zwembad, wauw wat een uitzicht! We werden verwend met verse groenten uit de tuin. Als je van rust houdt moet je beslist naar hier komen. Zorg wel dat je vooraf boodschappen doet want er zijn geen winkels in de buurt. Er is een mini supermarkt op 20 min. rijden maar het assortiment is beperkt en heel duur. Uitstekende plaats om te genieten van het authentieke Griekenland, weg van de.drukte.

Fabuleuse piscine

Impossible de ne pas donner 5/5 Ă  cette location du fait de sa piscine Ă  dĂ©bordement avec une vue Ă©poustouflante, de ses extĂ©rieurs trĂšs agrĂ©ables ! La situation de la maison est trĂšs intĂ©ressante Ă  plusieurs Ă©gards : splendides vues, relativement proche de plusieurs sites (monastĂšre de Podromou, village de Dimitsana, chutes d'eau de Neda, site d'Olympie...) Violeta qui habite juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© est trĂšs prĂ©sente et extrĂȘmement gentille ! Toujours aux petits soins ! Quelques bĂ©mols cependant. Le principal Ă©tant que l'alimentation en eau est capricieuse, Ă©tant en bout de chaĂźne dans le village de Matesi, Ă  certains moments l'eau est coupĂ©e, notamment Ă  l'heure oĂč tout le village arrose ses plantes... Deux d'entre nous ont dĂ» expĂ©rimenter le lavage au jet d'eau (alimentĂ© par une source) A noter que la climatisation n'est que dans la "chambre de maĂźtre", dans les autres et dans le salon il n'y a mĂȘme pas de ventilateur, un peu dur en cette pĂ©riode trĂšs chaude. Pas de lave-linge, mais Violeta fait et Ă©tend la lessive sur demande.Four HS, mais Violeta nous a fait cuire notre poulet. La maison a le charme de l'ancien, une partie date de 1820, mais peut ĂȘtre difficile Ă  apprĂ©hender au premier abord : obscuritĂ©, marches, meubles anciens peu confortables... Beaucoup de guĂȘpes et de frelons Ă©galement.

Un séjour inoubliable dans une maison qui a une ùme

La maison est situĂ©e dans un cadre exceptionnel avec une vue Ă©poustouflante. Elle est parfaitement Ă©quipĂ©e et l'espace Ă  vivre est largement suffisant pour un groupe de 8 Ă  10 personnes. Violetta (qui habite tout prĂȘt) veille avec discrĂ©tion, gaitĂ© et bienveillance au confort des hĂŽtes. Nous la remercions pour ces attentions gourmandes rĂ©guliĂšres et sa gentillesse. Un grand merci Ă©galement Ă  Anita qui est trĂšs facilement joignable par mail et par tĂ©lĂ©phone. Je recommande cette maison sans hĂ©sitation !!
