"The property appears to gotten a recent facelift. It was very clean and the room looked up to date. There is plenty of parking. The reason I stayed there is because I had a mechanical issue with my car. However, even without the car, restaurants and the little downtown area is well within walking distance. The breakfast was nothing to boast about. That was the only downside to my stay. The staff were great, friendly and accommodating. Overall, considering where Days Inn hotels rank in the hotel market, it was a very favorable stay. I’d stay there again if in the area."

"We had a wonderful two night stay with Debbie and Alan while we were in the area for my cousin’s wedding. Debbie was an incredibly warm and welcoming host and we really enjoyed talking with her each morning. The breakfasts were outstanding! Generous portions and absolutely delicious. The breakfast burrito and homemade hash browns were some of the best I’ve ever had. Their home is beautiful and perfectly nestled into the landscape- very Frank Lloyd Wright. Alan designed and built the home himself, and we felt fortunate to stay in such a beautiful, artfully crafted place and to meet the architect himself. Alan always greeted us with a kind smile in the morning and Debbie made us feel completely at home. Between the hospitality, the amazing breakfasts, the peaceful setting, and the beautiful house, this was such a memorable stay. We would absolutely stay here again."

"They had almost everything you’d need. Down to a blender nicer than I have at home. Lol they did not have an ice cream scoop. So if you’re making ice cream drinks like we did. Bring one along. Adam was very responsive when I had questions and check in and check out was very clear."

"Unique (in a good way!) house in a private setting on a beautiful lake. Lots of space, big kitchen and outdoor areas, and very comfortable. Owner and caretakers were great to work with throughout. Highly recommend this property for a large group."

"Property is very conducive for pets and the family. Larger than the pictures look. Lots of dishes, and cookware. Gnats were bad do not open windows after dusk. Wish we would have stayed longer."
