"Newer design room working AC and TV. Bring your own log in info for Netflix, prime, YouTube TV ext. no antenna TV in this area. You must arrive before 10PM. After that a room key is needed to unlock doors. Restaurant opens at 7 AM. If you want food earlier Valley Inn in Palmer, AK has 24 hour restaurant. Bring a tub stopper if you want a bath, Shower available. On property restaurants are great. Bar is great. No elevator. 2nd floor rooms. We had a great stay."

"John's place is perfect for our short stay when visiting hatcher's pass. The house is clean, updated, fully stocked with everything. We enjoyed kayaks, firepit, grill, a bit of fishing and netflix."

"We have traveled a lot and can honestly say, this was a perfect stay for us! Extremely clean, exactly as described, comfortable mattresses, and couldn’t have asked for a better location. The directions were exact and communication with the host was very clear! Thank you for a great place to hang out on our trip to Alaska!"

"This cabin is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! Everything u would want n hope 4 n then some!In fact we decided 1 day just 2 spend a rainy day in it, just 2 enjoy it!My personal favorite was the loft n the rain hitting the tin roof at night w/the sounds of trains passing in the distance!Ben the host was just the VERY BEST!Answered all texts quickly n had that cabin stocked w/many goodies!I plan on coming back again all the way from Tampa, FL!I can't think of 1 thing I could ever recommend 2 make it better!Best stay EVER!Thanx so much Ben 4 such a Beautiful home 2 stay in 2 visit Beautiful Alaska!"
Family friendly, centrally located home with a pool!

"Overall, we liked this place and would stay again. It was great for our extended family with kids. Great backyard and pool, and the house was very kid friendly. Lots of space. We stayed on our way through town and it was convenient to the highway. Neighborhood was quite and typical Alaskan. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars was that it was uncomfortably hot in the bedrooms and the curtains weren't blackout in all the rooms. We travel with blackouts just in case, so that was fine. It was a warmish (upper-60s when we arrived), cloudy day and the temp in the house was almost 80 when we arrived late in the day. We only had a few hours to open windows to cool it down, and it was still pushing 80 in the upstairs rooms. We ended up sleeping with the windows open (despite no screens, but luckily no mosquitos) but with little wind it was not a good night sleep. The bunk room only had a floor fan, so only one lower bunk and the pull out trundle were able to benefit. There were also no flat sheets on the bunk beds, just flannel fitted sheets with heavy sherpa like blankets and pillowcases that really weren't appropriate for the summer and didn't help the situation. The beds were very comfortable though (even the bunk beds) except the trundle mattress had a noticeable dip in the middle our child complained about)."

"Overall the house is good. A lot of bedrooms and nice common area to gather. The host answered super quickly when I had questions about things I couldn't find. (I should have read the check-in notes about looking in the closet at the top of the stairs for some things.) So great to be in the middle of all the events for the wedding we attended - location, location, location!I didn't think of this when we booked, but we brought our elderly father with us. He pointed out that the handrail for the stairs didn't go all the way to the top of the stairs. He felt unsure every time he went up/down to the bathroom. This isn't a fault of the house, but a reminder to me to check a few more details for my next booking. I would book this place again!"
