Last minute booking very nice but small place. But it was well maintained. Owners very friendly.

Tranquil and very quiet

I liked the fact it was easy to find . The lake was walking distance and a very peaceful setting. I would stay there again if I is available the next time . The beds were very comfy and clean. I would recommend this house to anyone .

awesome stay in the cozy cabin.

the cabin is in a great location for fisherman, we only had a minute to the green pond landing. plenty of room for boat parking. cabin was very clean and cozy, everything was as listed.

National Highschool Bass Tournament

Perfect location for anglers. Very close to launch, fuel and food. Covered parking for the boat was fantastic while trying lines and setting up for the next day. Was a great stay.

This property was perfect for our trip to Lake Hartwell. It was very neat and clean upon arriving. The owners were very responsive to messages as well as made check-in and staying process very easy. The covered boat parking was a huge help with all of the rain we got. Highly recommended and would love to stay again for future events. Thanks

Perfect cottage and location!

This was the perfect little cottage right at Green Pond Landing and Our hosts were super nice! Just a few minutes drive to grocery stores and restaurants. If you get a chance, you have to try out Grace’s Restaurant! They have the Best biscuits I’ve ever tasted. We will definitely book this property again if it’s available! Thank you Dawn and Randy for sharing your perfect little cottage with us, we had a great weekend for our son’s College Bass Tournament!

Extremely nice, true ocean beachy vibes. Great location, within minutes of everything. We are already planning our next visit for September. Loved everything, my husband enjoyed the fishing although he didn't catch anything 😂. We got there an hour earlier and we were allowed to check in which was very kind and accommodating. 10 out of 10 all the way around!!!!

Clean and Great Location, Not So Good for the Physically Impaired.

Pros: The Green Pond Cottage is a winner for fishing or pleasure boating vacationers. It is located very close to Green Pond Landing on Lake Hartwell, and comes with a large carport for you to store your boat. It is a small older house that has been nicely refurbished and is very clean, and is stocked with anything you could possibly need or might have left at home. It is located in a peaceful quiet neighborhood. However, there are some cons to the rental. The stairs leading up to the deck are steep and difficult for a physically impaired person due to the lack of a handrail. Actually, there is a handrail but nearby shrubs have grown over it, making it difficult to use. Please trim back those bushes or install a different handrail on the left side of the steps for safety. I don’t use a walker or even a cane, but going up those steep steps is difficult. Coming down is actually scary. The step leading from the deck to the house itself is actually much higher than a normal step, and I found myself contemplating crawling in on my knees! Aside from that, there are almost no open receptacles in the old house in which to plug electronics such as laptops, phones, tablets, etc. You would be best to bring along some power bricks. If you don’t have any difficulties with steep stairs and can deal with not so many electrical outlets, you will probably love this little cottage.

The cozy cottage was exactly what our family needed for our week at the lake. It was cute as can be and even had a view of the lake which I wasn’t expecting. The deer coming to hang out was super fun and exciting.We hope to book again for our next trip down to Anderson.
