Cozy Pet Friendly Cottage, 2 story Deep Water Dock - bring your boat!

Quiet family & dog friendly home on Lake Hartwell with a large deck and two level boat dock. Very deep water (23 feet at dock when lake is full) means not worrying about summertime water drops and no touching your feet on the bottom when swimming and no muddy water! Two jet ski ports for keeping your water craft out of water and secure during your stay. Bring your boat too, there is plenty of room to tie up to the dock! There is a small boat ramp that is located in same cove and very easy to get to (Port Bass boat ramp). The spacious upper dock is furnished with cushioned furniture and sunshade. Kayaks are also available to be used to explore our large and quiet cove. The large 20'x30' deck overlooks the lake while keeping dogs and small children secure with gates and fencing. Multiple tables with sunshades, grill, and mosquito lamps will keep you comfortable while grilling out lunch or dinner. Full size washer and dryer along with two full size refrigerators. In addition the house is equipped with central air and smart TV. Master bedroom has a queen size bed, 2nd bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds, and living room has a queen size pull out sofa bed. Concrete parking area is 35'x50' so there is room for your vehicle and trailer. Fast fiber WiFi included. There are multiple State and Federal parks in the area with hiking and biking trails. We are only 30 minutes to Clemson University and one hour to University of Georgia.

We are about a 10 minute boat ride to Harbor Light Marina where there are boat rentals available. There is also a lakeside restaurant, Tilly's, there at the marina that we love to take a quick boat ride for a bite to eat and a cold beer. Level 2 car charger available.

This property meet all our expectations. We had a restful stay as it was a quiet neighborhood. The house was very clean. The fishing from the dock was good and was a good place to swim. The Wi-Fi and TV reception was excellent. The host was helpful and very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay on Lake Hartwell. The home was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Drinking our coffee in the morning on the boat dock, watching the sun rise and the fish jump was a wonderful way to start the day. Great location between Greenville and Atlanta with easy access to the upcountry. Peter was very prompt with communications and very accommodating with check-in and check-out times. We would highly recommend his cottage on the lake!

Comfy stay on the lake!

Loved this property! It was so clean and cozy. The owner was communicative and helpful. We were in town for a graduation, and the drive to the events was convenient. We didn’t get the weather to use the dock. But it was really nice, and we’d love to stay again and get to enjoy it!

Great summer vacation house

This was a great place, it was just as described. We would definitely recommend. My two teenage boys loved jumping and swimming from the dock. The water was very clean and deep off the dock.

Great Lake getaway

Owners were great and communicated with us and check to make sure our stay was perfect. The dock is huge with the upper deck and has very deep water at it. House has a great AC and the water pressure in the shower is to die for. Great place for a small family.

Family Weekend

This property was perfect!! Our family and our dog all enjoyed many hours spent out on the dock and in the water. House was as listed, and we will definitely stay here again in the future! Enjoyed going on the kayaks and tubes on the lake, or just relaxing on the comfy couch.This host has thought of everything to make this stay a fantastic one!!

Quiet area. Great dock to lounge. Kayak to nearby beach areas where our dog could run and enjoy the water. Host communications were great and promptly responded. Large deck on back of house with large table.

Family vacation

Amazing spot. This is our second year and family had a blessing. The house is well stock. The double decker dock is the place to be. Quiet cove for swimming, SUP, kayaking and fishing. Can’t wait till next year.

We enjoyed our time together with family in Anderson. A little difficult to get to after dark. Only negative is stairs for 80 something. Clean and pleasant.

Lake vacation

We had a great week at the beautiful lake! Loved the dock, the deck, and the great AC inside! The only thing I missed was a dishwasher, but it was a nice big sink to wash our dishes in. It didn’t limit our fun at all. It was one of the better equipped kitchens we’ve had in rentals as well. The two refrigerators came in super handy, used one for drinks and one for food. The floors are super pet friendly as well. We would definitely stay again!

Great view of the lake

Everything was great! The cottage was perfect for our family of 4 and the dog :) The view is so pretty and we loved being able to jump in the lake and to use the floats at the house to relax on the water. It was also so nice that there were a few great restaurants just a few minutes from the property. We also went to a game at Clemson, it was a 30-35 min easy, stress free drive. Our dog loved the cottage too. The surmise was amazing from the swing on the dock!! TY!

Great stay

we had a great Stay at this property. We were able to bring our boat and put it in just down the street from the house. The dock is great and is equipped with lifejackets for humans and dogs of all sizes. The house is not huge, but has a large back deck that is perfect for spending time with family away from the water. There were two fridges that made it easy to shop and prepare meals each day and there were basic essentials in the spice cabinet and fridge that were available to to use. The have everything you need to cook and prep there. Our hosts were very communicative and available if we had any questions. Would definitely come back!

3rd time at this wonderful place

This is our 3rd time here. We love the location. Very seclude and quiet cove. Only 10 minutes ride to the marina where we rent a pontoon boat. Space to park the boat and enjoy the dock. We caught tons of fish this time around. We plan to be back.

We enjoyed our week at the lake. Everything we needed was available. The host communicated very well with any questions we had. Home was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the large deck but did have to clean the deck off on arrival due to leaves etc.
