Down the road from The Venue @ Gantt Lake & just 15min from the Springdale Estate plus lots of unique shopping & fine dining choices. While here you can just lose yourself in the peace & tranquility of this private cove with its spectacular sunrises & sunsets on the lake. Stargazing here is absolutely incredible! With a fairly open concept you can enjoy family & friends inside, out on the back deck or on the dock. Fenced in backyard to keep children from the water when playing outside. Bring your boat b/c the driveway is your own private boat ramp. It's also a great time of year to bring your kayaks & paddle boards to explore the lake as well. The house comes stocked with a coffee bar, water in the fridge, plus any food in the cabinets is available to the guests. All linens are provided along with washer & dryer, detergent & dryer sheets, extra blankets & pillows. Black out curtains upstairs, tv in upstairs bedroom as well, iPhone chargers in upstairs bedroom, WiFi, both tvs have Amazon prime, Netflix & more.

Room for improvement
Overall stay was good, but there are several things that need improvement: 1. Stairs lacked any handrail - this is surely a safety issue for older folks like us and possibly a code violation. 2. We had to buy our own facial tissues because there were zero in the house when we arrived. 3. There are no towel bars or towel hooks in the bathrooms so you have to throw hand towels and bath towels on any available clean surface between uses. Many places are not wide enough for a towel bar so I would suggest towel hooks in those locations. 4. There were no face cloths anywhere that we looked. Thankfully, we brought one with us but one of us had to go without. 5. There was only one partial roll of paper towels and zero paper napkins.

Beautiful peace and quiet
Comfy and cozy. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Close enough to everything in town yet far enough out that we can't hear the busy traffic. Enjoyed the water with the kayaks we brought found a cute secluded area with mini waterfalls perfect for pics. Took family pics on the gorgeous balcony. Robin was easy to get in contact with and left helpful notes on the counter. Already planning another trip and bringing the boat.

A little bit of Heaven!
Frayed Knot is the perfect get away! Beautiful house nestled in a cove with amazing views of Gantt lake. The owner was very accommodating to our needs when we booked and responsive to any questions or requests that we had. This vrbo exceeded our expectations! Loved it!!
