"I highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay after trekking or touring the Maras salt mines, the Sacred Valley, or Machu Picchu. We stayed here after our four-day trek on the Inca Trail. "Incredible scenery, tucked in between the mountains of Peru. Hugo has a wonderful home. Lots of space with a fenced in yard, swing set and cabana. We enjoyed every inch of the space. Full kitchen was great for cooking and eating dinner in. The cabana was warm and bright in the morning sun for having breakfast. Their distance from town is far enough way for a quiet night's sleep, and close enough to walk into town if you're feeling adventurous! Heated showers were a welcomed feature. "

It is centrally located in town, about a 10-min walk from the train to Machu Picchu and a 5-min walk from the town center.Great views, comfortable beds, and nice kitchen amenities. However, the street dogs were very audible at night, and it was difficult to sleep even with earplugs."

Tierra Viva Valle Sagrado Urubamba

Tierra Viva Valle Sagrado Urubamba

10/10 Excellent
"I really enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff. They were welcoming and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions I had. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. With a lot of beautiful views all around. I had used the spa services (jacuzzi, dry sauna, steam room, and a massage) and they exceeded my expectations. The waitstaff at the restaurant were kind and attentive. And, I tried a lamb shank with mashed yucca and it was flavorful and delicious. The included breakfast also had a great assortment of options. If you are looking for peace and quiet and friendly staff and spa amenities, this is the place to go. The compound felt safe and secure and the resident alpacas were an added bonus to the serenity of the space. I would definitely book here again."
