"Location is a little far from the station, 25 win walk, but it had a (small) onsen. Hotel site says there is a convenience store ten minutes away, but there’s actually a large supermarket right next to the hotel and open till 10pm."

"China (Cheena) looked after us so well. She did everything, cooking , cleaning, driving us to ski resort. Our train was cancelled and they came to pick us up at Bandai Altima at a cost which was terrific. There actually is a bus from Koriyama to the Ski Resort however the bus station seemed unable to tell us that. It would have been good information from Reitopia also. "Excellent "Western" Japanese Hotel. We particularly enjoyed the the rooftop Japanese spa, the excellent breakfast and after dinner the lounge with fresh drinks and snacks. The hotel also offers dinner on site which we didn't book because we had dinner in the city but what we saw looked also very good. "

One of our group members had left behind his bag in a remote restaurant prior to his arrival and with the great assistance of the hotel staff, we managed eventually to confirm that the bag had been sent to a police station. The staff, who didn’t speak good English , had been very patient in understanding my Japanese of limited proficiency , and had the matter sorted out to our great satisfaction."

Transportation into the city is limited and taxi is about $20 USD"
