Nice staff & Clean
Nice, clean hotel, very friendly & welcoming staff. Beds weren't overly comfortable. Would've been nice to know that it was under construction, I believe that should be disclosed when booking. I think it was a high demand weekend & prices were high.

Hotel was in very good condition. We were in town for the Boone Supernationals, which run late into the night, and we would not normally leave for the day until 1pm. Only complaint was that we did not get houskeeping services for the entire 6 days we were there. The one day I asked if we could get clean sheets and towels, housekeeping was gone, so I said to make sure they came the next day, and they did not. That's my only complaint. Otherwisse, good overall experience.

Stayed in room 201. Got bedbugs-they got an exterminator who also validated the bedbugs, and I was able to change rooms- no other compensation offered. Tried to leave a day early and they would not refund my money for the night I wasn’t staying.

Our family with young kids loves staying at Towneplace suites! Private bedrooms & bathrooms in 2-BR suite, fully stocked kitchen, great pool and hot tub, free hot breakfast, and wonderful staff. Thank you!

I didn't like how loud the heat/ac units are in the bedrooms when it turned on. If you are sensitive to noise while sleeping you must where ear plugs. I have seen a SpringHill Suites in Tennessee provide earplugs for guests on bedside tables. I would suggest the same to Ames TownePlace Suites. Other than the noise from the wall unit in the bedroom, I thought the hotel was very comfortable. I would stay again.

Great location near ISU campus, newer property so everything is new and fresh. They had a problem with the room I reserved but moved us into another room - no issues and great customer service.

Excellent place to stay! Good location near ISU and los of amenities. Stayed in the 2Q suite. Large enough to have dining table. High ceilings. Larger bathroom. Super comfy single armchair. Quiet at night even on weekend. Very accommodating with our two dogs. The staff was fantastic! Helpful, kind and went the extra mile every time. Laundry facility and jacuzzi were awesome. Breakfast area is large with plenty of seating (unless it’s ISU move in week!). Decent hot breakfast. Good coffee. Will definitely stay here again!

The person at the front desk was very friendly. We were able to borrow a deck of cards from them which was nice. The room was a nice size with a full kitchen although we only used the fridge. I am short and beds were so high it was hard for me to get in it. Our blow dryer didn't work so I requested another one. The one they brought us didn't work so I had to call and request yet another one. We tried to use the hot tub but the chlorine smell was so bad our eyes burned. So we went outside to sit by the fire pit and that wasn't working.

At first they gave us a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet. Actually we thought the people were still there. I thought I had reserved a room with a separate sitting area but they said that wasn’t what I ordered. They did give us a room with a separate sitting area. Everything was fine after that

The room I reserved through Expedia 3 weeks ago wasn’t available so I was charged for 2 rooms instead.

It was not available when Expedia made the reservation, you should never have been able to reserve that room. They have been sold out for months due to the ISU-OU game. I am not sure how you were able to even reserve that room type. You were charged 2 rooms at $107.00 a piece. Equaling the $214.00 that was the Expedia Rate. You were given 2 rooms at the rate of the one that you had. And not charged anymore. I could not contact you, as I did not have a phone number. I am the General Manager, and I am the one that gave you the 2 rooms for $107.00 a piece. Far less than the rate for that evening. I do hope the rest of the stay was enjoyable. Again, to clarify, you were charged the same price for TWO rooms, as you would have been for one. I think there may have been some confusion about that. The cost was $0.00 different.
