Holiday Home 'Au Bord De La Charente' with Private Terrace and Private Garden

"The property was excellent and in a good location on the outskirts of Jarnac next to the river and a picnic area. It was a 20 minute walk into Jarnac along the riverside path. The property was in an excellent position to access the Flow Vélo with our bikes. The layout was all open plan and the French doors opened onto a covered seating area. The facilities were very good although the fridge only had a very small freezer compartment. It could maybe do with an information leaflet for the property...

"Ravis d’arriver sur ce lieu pour une pause d’une nuit sur la route de nos vacances.A notre arrivée, on nous annonce que le lieu est autosuffisant. J’ai relu l’annonce... ce n’est pas signalé. Il faut donc savoir qu’il n’y a pas de lave vaisselle pas de machine à laver le linge ou encore pas de micro onde car les panneaux solaires ne peuvent pas les alimenter.Il y a un petit refrigerateur réglé au minimum pour ne pas faire disjoncter l’électricité. Donc pas de freezer."

"This place is really one of the best place i stayed ! Fantastic castel , top decoration , the staff is exceptional kind and helpfull. The room are fully well equiped , nice , great bed and space ! "Fabulous location and just next door was a wonderful restaurant, le Francois, but they were so under-staffed, the waiters literally ran through the restaurant to serve the people on the little deck in front of it and sitting out under the lights in the center of a square. The parking garage was tiny and intense. We felt certain that we must have gone into the wrong one. It was like someone's personal basement. We were deliberating on what to do and the nice young man at the front desk saw us and showed us where to park. It was a little disconcerting for him to tell us that he goes off duty at 7, so we needed to remember the code to get back in, but it worked. Our room was completely pink - walls and doors. Our room was over the next door restaurant so we heard kitchen noise, but it wasn't bad. There was no A/C and the day had gotten a little warm, so we wanted to suck in as much cool air as we could before we closed the window."

"Property was excellent for what it was, good proximity to les Antilles. The car charging setup was excellent, though admittedly I wasn’t paying full attention in the car park and I fell over the little barriers, which was admittedly entirely my fault. Look forward to returning"
