A great place to relax with lots of places to visit nearby, lovely breakfast and main meals, quiet comfortable room and colleagues who seem determined to make your stay special. "The breakfast was first rate, the cooked breakfast was just enough and cooked to perfection. The staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful which greatly improved the whole experience. The building internally would benefit from a little attention eg. Some flaking paintwork in hallway, but nothing offensive, and did not affect our stay at all. The room was clean and well presented, so glad we upgraded to Deluxe double. Noticed a little black mould on the grout around bath, but it was clear that the bathroom had been thoroughly cleamed. We loved staying at the Macdonald Linden, and would happily recommend it to other travellers We hope to return soon. Great base for exploring the beauty of Northumberland. An altogether great weekend."
