"The place was nice and clean and nicely landscaped. There are serious pricing discrepancies on the units and no two people paid the same price...on top of which we were charged a substantial surcharge for air conditioning whereas others were not. Staff are responsive and attentive but do little to market the resort, ie we found out that they supplied drinking water after 4 weeks of hauling it from the stores. Generally we were happy with our stay and we would go back but knowing what I know now...

"The grounds were very well maintained on a daily basis. Landscaping is wonderful, large trees to provide shade, house iguanas, and give a Belize jungle vibe. We met a lot of fun people while sharing the kitchen area. Our host cared for our needs, ranging from our golf cart rental to restaurant suggestions. She invited us to share a meal and visit. The room was cleaned regularly. Our shower was outside under a tree. Which was pretty cool."

"We recently stayed at X’tan Ha and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their hospitality was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The rooms were clean, although they are somewhat dated and could use some updating. We also had a few visits from ants and termites in our room during our stay. The food was mediocre—not bad, but not particularly memorable. However, if you’re looking for peace, quiet, seclusion, and beautiful beach views, X’tan Ha delivers. The property offers a relaxing atmosphere away from the crowds. One thing to keep in mind is that it’s about a 40-minute bumpy golf cart ride to most restaurants, shops, and activities in town. For some travelers, the remote location will be a major plus; for others, it may be less convenient. Overall, if your priority is tranquility, beachfront scenery, and friendly service, X’tan Ha is worth considering."
