Instead of apologizing she started to raise her volume to explain why she left, despite us specifically mentioning the time of arrival. We called the owner to complain and she didn’t seem to care. We had very low speed internet signal in the studio, with WiFi frequently disconnecting; we got anywhere from 1 to 11 mbps, due to a low power WiFi extender. We experienced nightly power cuts - no automatic power backup....

"Ce fut un bon moment de détente. Le personnel est très gentil et à votre écoute. On y mange bien. La chambre est très spacieuse, il y manque seulement un petit frigo. Dommage que des travaux juste derrière l’hôtel face tant de bruit car lever à 6h30. La wifi est présente dans tout l’hôtel mais régulièrement coupée. "We stayed at Ravintsara Wellness Hotel for five nights on a half-board basis and had a wonderful and very relaxing stay. The dinners were excellent throughout, with beautifully prepared food and a good selection. A special thank you to the restaurant team for taking such good care of my husband's dietary requirements. They were extremely accommodating and made sure his needs were catered for every evening. The spa was definitely one of the highlights. The treatments were excellent and the prices were surprisingly reasonable - considerably less than we normally find in hotel spas. Dina gave me an amazing facial, and the massages with Tendra and Patina were extremely professional, deep and incredibly relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa and would highly recommend it. Our bungalow had a beautiful view of the sea. Nosy Be has an extreme difference between low and high tide, but we found the view beautiful at both times and really enjoyed sitting and looking out over the water. The only negatives were a couple of unusual extra charges. We were surprised to be told that there would be an additional charge if we wanted to use the Jacuzzi bath in our own room, and there was also a charge to have an iron. For a hotel of this standard, we felt that both of these should really be included in the room rate. These were relatively small issues, however, and did not detract from what was otherwise a lovely five-night stay. Excellent food, a fantastic and reasonably priced spa."

"This place really is paradise. Me and my girlfriend spent 9 nights here and had a fantastic time. The bungalows are spacious with your own sun beds overlooking the sea which is no more than 10/20 meters away. Food is very good and the portions are very generous. We did some excursions organised by the hotel and again everything ran perfect and was very enjoyable. The Tuk Tuk drivers and the taxi drivers they use are also very helpful and we felt perfectly safe and happy when we used them. The staff are all very friendly. It’s such a quiet and secluded place, the perfect place to relax and unwind. It also has the most beautiful sunsets every evening we watched them go down and felt very lucky to be in such a beautiful place. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the island."

"We stayed for 20 nights and honestly wish we could have stayed even longer. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every member of staff was friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. The reception team, restaurant staff and bar staff were all exceptional and always made us feel at home. Our room (Junior Suite B11) was spotless every day. Housekeeping did an amazing job throughout our stay and everything was maintained to a very high standard. During our holiday we were unfortunately unwell for a short time, and the hotel staff couldn’t have been more caring and supportive. Their kindness made a real difference and is something we will always remember. Towards the end of our stay, our daughter joined us for four nights. The hotel arranged a Deluxe room for her at short notice and helped organise her transport, making everything completely stress-free. The location is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxed, and watching the sunsets from the hotel never got old. This wasn’t just a great hotel, it was a place where the staff genuinely cared about their guests. After 20 nights we felt more like friends than customers. Thank you to Andrick and the whole team for making our holiday so special. We left with wonderful memories and sincerely hope to return one day."
