"We enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfortable apartment with a great balcony. It is not too modern and is great value for money. It was easy to find and very close to the seafront, it has a pretty garden. The host was friendly and helpful. Milatos is a peaceful seaside village reminiscent of Crete 40 years ago, however it has choice of places to eat. We had our best meal in Crete so far at Meraklis Tavern on the waters edge, very good value"

"Perfect location for what we needed. We stayed in a sea view family room which was two interconnected rooms with balcony. Hotel was not busy and the pool was quiet and refreshing.
10 minute walk into centre but we took the 15 minute scenic route down to the bay and Along the seafront.
Staff super friendly and helpful.
Would return and highly recommend.

"The staff at Phaea Blue and the location are what made our trip so pleasurable. The resort feels like a village on the hillside. The area is quiet and the village of Plaka is close by and walkable. We ate their each night and the food in Plaka is superb! We booked a Luxury Bungalow with pool and sea view which was delightful and lovely after a hot day on the beach. Will return."

Our only slight disappointment was that the villas were 3 miles away from where Expedia said they were!! The staff were extremely helpful to assist us in communicating with Expedia however. "

"A boutique style hotel with an easy, modern and a chilled vibe. Spent two weeks here B & B. Got a taxi ride into Elounda or Plaka every evening for dinner. Just a lovely, quiet part of Crete that we love."

"Stunningly beautiful property. However, I was not impressed by the inability to get a reservation at the restaurants, which made us eat at the buffet all except for one night. Was also upset by the cleanliness of the main pool. It turned my white swimsuit green and ruined it. Not worth the price in my opinion "

"The hotel was very well laid outand the staff were excellent. We had an issue with the room but as soon as we spoke to reception our room was changed.
The only niggle (very small) was there no hotel information in the room so we did know for example when the hotel had a gala night."

"A beautiful property with great staff! I felt immediately welcomed! Everything was clean and if we had an issues they were solved immediately. I loved everything. I would like some more late night food options other than room service maybe having one of the restaurants open later. "
"We spent 4 nights at this property, but wish we'd booked for longer! A family of 6 (3 teens and 1 tween) we have booked a villa holiday every year for 12+yrs!, and we found Villa Vorno was the perfect set up for us.
The panoramic view is stunning and the villa is stylish and modern with a nod to traditional Cretan design. The villa was extremely clean with lots of attention to detail.
George was kind enough to meet us after our very late arrival (1am!) and show us the way up the road to the villa. We always hire a car, and your own transport is a must as it is a way off the main road. The location however was ideal for us, with no neighbouring properties staying at Villa Vorno it feels like you are in the heart of Crete. A benefit of its location is that it is slightly cooler than the bottom of the hill, and with the clever design of the villa the outside space offers both sun and shelter with beautiful aspects.
The pool overlooks the view, and was perfect size for us. The pool does not have a poolside deck and you access the pool from one side.
The outside kitchen with bbq and wood fired pizza oven were a big hit with the family! And we enjoyed our meals al fresco looking out.
The service received at Villa Vorno was second to none, and we felt truly looked after (by contrast, we followed the villa stay up with a few nights at a plush all-inclusive hotel - the villa felt far superior!)
We would highly recommend for a truly beautiful Cretan escape for the family."
