There are really no other options for lodging in the King's Canyon area so if you want to see it, this is where you stay. The people at the resort were very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very nice. The food in the restaurant in the evening was tasty but the complimentary breakfast was a bit lacking in quality though they did offer more fruit than other similar places. We stayed in several national park lodges in Tasmania and those lodgings were far superior to this one at much less cost. I know this is a remote location so that adds to the cost, but the accomodations and food provided did not warrant the price that was charged.

"Biggest problem with this hotel (partly my fault) is parking, no onsite parking available. Having to use the Wilsons next door became quite expensive even after the Hotels discount. The staff were great and the free breakfast is a bonus, if only everything was hot, even the coffee machine produced ..."
