The Cozy Buffalo near Palo Duro Canyon & WTAMU

The Cozy Buffalo is a spacious home with a farmhouse feel. It is in walking distance from the college campus, close to the downtown square, and a 10 minute drive to Palo Duro Canyon. Palo Duro Canyon offers hiking, zip lining, horseback riding, the play Texas, and a multitude of other activities.
The Cozy Buffalo is a home away from home for all of our guests. Including Wifi, Direct TV with 155 + channels, Netflix, Hulu, and many other streaming programs with your username and password.

This 2400 sq ft home has a lot of room for activities or a simple relaxing weekend. It has 2 large living rooms, a nice dining room, a reading nook, and 3 spacious bedrooms. We have added many touches that make the Cozy Buffalo feel like home.

We visited Canyon Texas for the R100 Bow Shoot which was amazing fun and stayed at this great place. It was like being at home. Very clean and comfortable for our family and Grand children. The location was perfect, right near Canyon's main streets. Although the bathrooms are a bit odd and dated, the entire place was exceptionally clean and the bedrooms are spacious. There's plenty of room for a family to spread out in this home.

The Cozy Buffalo

There is a lot of room for everyone for sure! Very close to businesses and for shopping! Our group was very surprised at all the items that were included, including coffee and filters, coffee pods, and even the soap dispensers in the shower with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner (one is a walk in shower) plus some water and snacks. Very convenient location and comfortable.

Spacious and homey, with beautiful wood built-ins and lots of character! Nice large backyard for the pups to roam and the cutest dining area ever. We appreciated the gratis coffee bar and snacks. Thanks also for the Wrong Way Diner discount; we took advantage of the free burger and it was delish!

Most comfortable home for family

We wish we had longer to stay. Traveling with young adults (grandkids) 17-22 yoa. They loved the outlay of the home with gathering space inside second den and outside picnic tables. The backyard went on forever and my pupp loved chasing the dragon flies. We visited Palo Duro Canyon on way to Colorado Springs.

We stayed with 5 adults and there was plenty of room. Nicely appointed with comfy beds. Huge yard. Only issue we had was a clogged toilet that never got serviced. We were told a plumber would be called but never heard back from owner. Would stay again.

Perfect location

We stopped over for several days to hike Palo Duro Canyon and we weren't disappointed. The house has more then enough space and a large back yard for my pup to run in. Communication with the owner was as easy as it gets he's very responsive to any questions. If you are looking for a place to stay in Canyon I don't think you will be disappointed if you choose this house.

Better than the pictures!

I thought this place was wonderful just by looking at the pictures, but the pictures didn’t tell all! Not only was the communication excellent, but this place is so spacious and amazingly comfortable! Even the backyard is nice and big, with a grill, lights, and 2 picnic tables! The beds are very comfortable and this place has everything I could ask for! The neighborhood is quiet and feels like home too! will definitely be staying here every time I’m in Canyon!!! This is definitely a rare find!!!!!
