Good stay at Red Roof Inn Amarillo. The location is convenient and easy to access. Being on a ground-floor room was very practical for us as a family of five, especially with parking close by and carrying several suitcases. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The beds could be a bit more comfortable, and you can hear some noise from guests on the upper floor, but for the price you pay, it’s a fair and practical option. Overall, a good choice for an overnight stay. We would consider staying again.

I was given a handicapped room. It was spacious. That is about the only positive thing I can say. The room smelled like cigarette smoke, the bathroom door had a hole in it that went all the way through it, the lamp shade was ripped, and the coffee maker was missing the basket and hadn’t been cleaned and so so long that there was mold growing inside of the water reservoir. I was offered a different room to stay in when I reported the cigarette smoke, but I turned that down because I had moved everything in and I thought the space was good for my dog who had been in the car with me for over eight hours.

This was a nice stay with pets. Very friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean. Room had funny smell from AC, essential oils cleared it up. Walkable areas with lots of nicely cut grass all around the hotel. Breakfast room is nice and as pictured. Waffles, coffee, and options to choose from. Good stay for price.
