My boyfriend and I stayed here while visiting Palo Duro and Caprock Canyons state parks.
The location was great, house was clean and well stocked. The owners were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Hot tub was fantastic!
This was a very cozy and comfortable home. It had everything that we needed. The host was very helpful and friendly. The hot tub was relaxing in the evenings.
This was a wonderful place…..you won’t be disappointed. Very clean and cozy. Conveniently located and beautiful location. The deer were amazing and friendly. Highly recommend!!!
We travel to the area for a family reunion. We enjoyed the beautiful views. The highlight was feeding the deer that came right up to us. The house is very spacious with comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again.
Great property and property owner! Place was clean and had tons of games and snacks. Hot tub was excellent! Deer come up to property to be fed and pet. Will come again! Highly recommended!
This was an amazing house. It was exactly as described! The hosts went above and beyond! There were lots of little extras that we really appreciated. We would recommend this house.
Jerry was so nice, helpful and hospitable. The house was unique and really nice. The scenery and wildlife were added bonuses and helped make our stay really peaceful. Everyone in the family enjoyed the feel and comfort of the house. Mattresses and pillows were super comfy too.
Getting back to nature is what this property promises. Offering wildlife, foliage, and dark skies with numerous stars. Located between Amarillo and Palo Duro Canyon about a 20-30 minute drive to everything
The hosts are fantastic, attentive and respond promptly to requests. We plan on returning soon.
Wonderful property! Clean, spacious, and everything was labeled (no searching for which light switch did what) The neighborhood was so charming and unexpected! My children had a wonderful time feeding the deer and soaking in the hot tub and they loved the round shape of the house and the thoughtful snacks. My husband and I enjoyed using the grill and also the hot tub! The host was very kind and friendly. This is the best and least stressful way to do a family vacation!

Lovely!
This house is a lovely place to stay. The area is gorgeous- it’s at the edge of Palo Duro so there are rocky areas and hills. The home is generously appointed with everything you need for your stay. It is spotless and tidy. A sweet welcome basket full of snacks was a nice touch. The hot tub out back was relaxing. Take a deer cookie with you because you may get a visitor! My Girl Scout troop had a wonderful stay! Do not hesitate to book this location!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
The host was accessible if needed but respectful of our privacy. The property feels secluded. There are deer that eat out of your hand. We had bunnies, a turkey and a fox pass thru on our stay. We always felt safe and loved the atmosphere. The home was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. There are lots of things to do within a 20 minute drive including Palo Duro Canyon, which was our main reason for being there.

Perfect location to Palo Duro Canyon
A nice clean home that had everything we needed. Including a basket of snacks and deer treats. Owner lives near by. He is very friendly and attentive. A little too much for me. Cameras are not positioned as stated online. This, along with twice daily visits for maintenance by the owner gave me a bad vibe. A sense that we were being watched.

Great stay!
This is an unusual find. It suited our needs perfectly. The owners are extremely attentive and the home has so many details that set it apart from many vacation rentals. The “pet” deer are so fun! We brought our kayaks and had access to excellent water. We enjoyed the wildlife and hot tub each evening. The home is set back for privacy and the gated community felt safe. Highly recommend!
Had a wonderful time at this property. The home was immaculate, the scenery is stunning and tons of cool things to explore in the area. Highly recommend staying here! A huge thanks to the gracious hosts that were welcoming, responsive and incredibly friendly!
Jerry was great. The property was amazing. We will definitely be back again when I’m up there for Jeep wheeling trips. The kids loved the deer. Very peaceful stay.
Everything was wonderful for our week there. Jerry was very welcoming and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Loved the layout of the house and especially the welcoming committee of deer. We enjoyed feeding them treats in the afternoon.
