"Holly is the perfect down-home host, attendant to your every need. The cabin is so well appointed with artifacts from the cowboy days -- you feel like you are really there! The whole cowboy town is so charming and the setting in the country is all around, including the four horses on the property. What a jewel. Trails in the woods, a river runs through it, quiet, secluded. Perfect."

"The house inside was as advertised, very clean and plenty of amenities. Outside there were houses very close on either side which was not apparent from the listing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and time on the lake. I would recommend this house to anyone, having a boat would enhance the stay very much."

"This place was by far one of the best smaller motels that I have stayed at. Rooms are nice and where way larger than expected. Best part of the stay was the lady that manages the place. She was always helpful when you needed something and best of all was a blast to talk with every time. If I every have to get a room in the area again this will be the place I'd pick. Had a much better experience here than at the ones over in holiday city. "

"Room was very clean. Hairdryer wasn't working informed front desk and they unfortunately didn't have a spare. But was assured it would be fixed for the next guest. Pool and hot tub get 4.5 stars out of 5. No towels, brought mine from the room and it's time for a ceiling repaint. Breakfast was great. "

"This was the most amazing stay! The house is absolutely beautiful and the decorating is top notch. Everything was perfect and made my stay so enjoyable. The view is gorgeous and I loved sitting out on the patio in the afternoon and evening. I can’t say enough good things about how wonderful everything was. The location is quiet and peaceful, yet close to anything you may need. I had trouble with the door lock (my fault) when I came back from dinner and messaged Doug and Malissa. They responded immediately and Doug walked right over to help me. They have thought of all the needs you might have and even had decaf coffee (which I usually bring with me and forgot) and a special treat , which was sooo appreciated!I had a great nights sleep and loved the nice rain shower. It was a great start to my day.Do not hesitate for a second if you are considering booking, as there are absolutely NO negatives!! I anticipate this listing being one of those that is frequently sold out once word gets out about how wonderful it is. I’m probably doing myself a disservice , as I plan to stay here again when I’m in the area, and I will have convinced others to stay here and it will probably be full, lol!"

"We stayed for the night for our 11th wedding anniversary. Holly is an amazing host, as soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and given a tour of Cowboy town along with how it came to be. Then shown our cabin which was so beautiful. It was quiet and private, there was a wedding the next day and even the preparation for that did not interfere with our stay. We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice private escape. Thank you Holly"
