This is our main place to stay when visiting family in Alturas. Artia was a great help to us checking in. Somehow Expedia booked 2 rooms and I only needed 1 room. She was able to help get that cancelled. My main complaint is the bathrooms need to be updated at least the flooring

Nice comfortable room for a reasonable price. Was offered a room on the first floor so I wouldn't have to carry all of my baggage up to the second floor - I appreciate that.

Friendly staff. The rooms were decent size with comfortable beds and had a fridge and microwave. The room probably could use an update but everything was clean and in working condition. Was disappointed in the breakfast.

The people at the front desk were very kind, professional and helpful. The room we had was not thoroughly cleaned. There was an empty toilet paper roll on the floor under the sink and a previous guest had left a shirt on the bedroom floor. I posted in an early review for Expedia and a staff member read this post. They sent housekeeping over to clean again right away. The next day there were 2 people cleaning rooms near ours. The parking lot was empty of cars so they likely had no idea I stayed at the hotel and was in the room. They loudly spoke freely of many sexual “things” and how they might deal with the customer “because they aren’t always right.” I know much more than I want about these 2. Uncomfortable to say the least. So all-in-all: The stay was quite interesting.

Very convenient for my travel. Only complaint— breakfast choices are the worst Continental breakfast I have experienced anywhere! Only 1 cereal available/other was empty - 2 bland breads for toasting- NO PROTEIN except yogurt. The coffee in the ROOM was better tasting than in breakfast area. Fruit was decent

The property is pet friendly, and there is a good neighborhood to walk the dog directly behind the motel, away from the highway. I could not get the shower on. When checking out, the front desk person said, "that might be the one you have to pull very hard." Would have been valuable info checking in, but checking out was too late.

I have to say that I was a little nervous pulling in. It is not very attractive from the outside but it's location is ideal. Walking distance to Rite Aid and restaurants not to mention right off the highway. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the room. Very clean and roomy with microwave and fridge! We had two adults, one child, one baby in a pack n play, and two dogs and we felt like there was sufficient space. My favorite though was how comfortable the beds were. Normally at budget hotels the beds are miserable but we all slept great. Would definitely stay there again.
