Beautiful Chalet and Wonderful Location

I would highly recommend this property if you plan on hiking Zion, Bryce, Red Canyon, etc. It's a very comfortable chalet and well appointed. Be sure to stop and a larger city to get groceries/supplies as there are only small convenience stores close by. We used the Wal-Mart in Cedar City on our way to chalet (about 50 minutes away).

Great Location for Bryce and Zion

A lovely large home in a location convenient to both Bryce and Zion National Parks. The house had a very well stocked kitchen, nice bedding and linens, comfortable indoor furniture, and was extremely clean. The only minor upgrade the owners could make would be to add some nicer outdoor furniture for dining and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Our biggest plus was that it is between two beautiful National Parks- Bryce and Zion. It was very well stocked with all the kitchen supplies and even some tea, coffee, sugar and other condiments and spices that saved us a lot of money so we appreciated that. Grocery is right around the corner but hours are tricky. Beds were very comfortable and star gazing was awesome. We would definitely recommend.

Great spacious with a few opportunities to be even better

Great location as a home base for visiting Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. The listing photos are accurate- large, spacious log home lots of room to spread out and kitchen was well stocked. If not for nearby neighbor, view would be even better, but nice work to camouflage as much as possible for a good feeling of privacy. A couple of improvement opportunities: fire pit wood benches have protruding hardwood, spotty WiFi, and squeaky ceiling fans.Owners were very responsive offering suggestions for WiFi.

What a wonderful cabin !

We came to Utah on a 2 week vacation with 3 children. We stayed at 3 cabins as we went to various parts of the state. This cabin by far was the best . It was stocked with everything you can need for cooking, bathing even tons of board games! Bert and Rudi also were very prompt with answering our questions. This has been by far the best cabin I have ever stayed at with VRBO and I use them a lot!!

Beautiful chalet between Zion and Bryce canyons.

The home was cozy and inviting. Tastefully decorated and loved the log lodge look. It was April but still had lots of snow surrounding the home. Would have loved to have been able to enjoy the fire pit and the back patio but the snow is too deep and the temp chilly. The kitchen was well equipped and the front room had huge windows for viewing the night sky and the surrounding forest. It was a great stay!

Perfect place to stay if visiting Bryce and Zion

Convenient spot about 45 minute drive from both Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. It is easy to find, and the drive getting up to the cabin was filled with spectacular views. Our family spent three nights here during our “out west” vacation this June, and this cabin served as our favorite accommodations along our journey. The big tall windows allowed wonderful views of the night sky. The master suite was huge and everyone enjoyed spending some time in the spacious master bathroom. The owners were very responsive when we had a question. We highly recommend this as a place to stay if this part of Utah is in your travel plans.

Amazing! Perfect location between Zion and Bryce Canyon

My wife and I and four kids didn't want to leave this amazing home. It's half way between Zion and Bryce Canyon so it was a perfect place to stay for three nights and take in two of Utah's most scenic National Parks. The home was stocked with everything we all needed: cooking supplies in the kitchen, a washer and dryer, all kinds of puzzles and games for the kids, ping pong and foosball, lots of channels on the TV to end the day, and even a telescope to look at the night sky through the huge living room windows. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Beautiful property, slightly marred by no heat on first night

The house is beautiful. We particularly enjoyed the great room and the spacious master suite upstairs with a huge bathroom. It was great having 3 separate bedrooms along with two bathrooms. We enjoyed the fireplace too, with plenty of firewood, which we had to put to good use because the heater wasn't working the first night, and it was cold -- e.g., 4+ inches of snow the day we left. Bert was as nice as he could be about the heat problem, which I worked with him to troubleshoot, but he couldn't get an HVAC expert out on Saturday late afternoon/evening, so it wasn't fixed until the next day (Sunday, for which he apparently had to pay the HVAC expert double-time). We used the fireplace heavily, plus a space heater we found, and with lots of blankets it wasn't bad. We went out to Bryce on Sunday and the heat was fixed by the time we returned.

Great Choice for Zion/Bryce Visitors

As advertised, this property is superbly located if you plan to visit Bryce and Zion NPs. The home is gorgeous, especially if you enjoy log-home living. The 2nd floor master suite is ridiculously large. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, spices, plates, utensils, tupperware, etc. There are lots of odds and ends left by previous visitors to use. A smallish cooler is in the garage for day trips and we left our slightly larger one because we couldn't take it with us. The washer and dryer are jumbo size. We used the firepit every night for toasting marshmellows the fire-starter lighter and marshmellow-roasting sticks are provided. Bring your own wood, though. (We saw the International Space Station fly right overhead 2 nights in a row which was incredible! We looked it up - yes, we're sure it was the ISS.) Be sure to shop for your groceries before getting there because there is virtually nothing nearby. The convenience store down the hill has a limited supply of odds and ends in quantities meant for emergencies. That little store has firewood, too. If you need space, this home is great for a large family or for 2 families if you can throw all the kids into the bunkroom. There is an upstairs landing with a great table for setting up a puzzle, and an assortment of puzzles and board games are in the home. Bring your own hair dryer! The hosts are very responsive and we had absolutely no trouble with communication. Access was easy. This listing is awesome! Just don't book when I plan to go back ;)

Great stay!

The home is beautiful and very inviting! Star gazing on the back deck is a must. We appreciated the spacious kitchen, living areas and bedrooms. It is centrally located between Bryce and Zion with easy main road access. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The kitchen is well stocked. We would definitely love to stay here again!
