Altefähr is located in the southeast of the island of Rügen, directly on the Strelasund. From the small harbor and the beach promenade you can enjoy the view over the water, over the roofs and church towers of the historic old town of Stralsund. The modern beach promenade and the wide sandy beach invite you to stroll and linger, and the shallow water on the beach is especially attractive for families. The children can let off steam on the beach playground and also for the somewhat older ones there are many great offers with beach volleyball courts, sailing and surfing schools, thanks to which play and fun are guaranteed.



If you are a cook, you can feast along the promenade in the various restaurants or fish restaurants and enjoy yourself. Also as an angler you will get your money's worth on the shore or on boat trips.

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in Altefähr verbracht.

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in Altefähr verbracht. Das Haus war sehr schön eingerichtet, allerdings waren die Betten sehr sehr weich. Leider hatte man keinen direkten Zugang zur Terrasse, man saß zwischen den Gebäuden im dunklen. Wir waren als Familie dort es hat uns gefallen.
