Beautiful well equipped villa 10 minute walk from Albir beach.The photos don't do the property justice! Unfortunately our 12 week stay was during the coldest winter Spain has experienced for years and we weren't able to enjoy all the outside facilities which were provided.The owners Peter and Francesca couldn't have been more kind and helpful, even installing a tumbler drier when the weather got grim! I don't hesitate in thoroughly recommending this property

Beautiful little hideaway

We were in Altea on a reccy of the area with a view to moving to this area of Spain. Altea is a gorgeous town. A walk down to the beach is maybe 10 mins max - perfect. Peter & Francoise are the perfect hosts and very helpful with advise on areas to visit. The accommodation has all the facilities we needed and beautifully decorated. A lovely little hideaway (though not so little). Francoise and Peter could not be more helpful. They are lovely people. We have no hesitation in recommending the hosts, the property and the location. Thank you for your hospitality xx

Just what we needed

We just spent a week at Francesca and Pedro's property. It's situated between Altea and L'Albir - perfect walking distance for both locations. The property itself was clean and comfortable; everything you need to get started on your holiday is provided, and the hosts live next door and are always on hand if you need them but never intrude. The rooms are nice and cool, and the outside area gets the sun all day from different angles. The pool is fantastic for cooling off at any time of the day; we loved it especially in the morning sun. The beach is an easy 5-10 minute walk away but a car is useful for getting out and about and doing the shopping at Aldi or Lidl (5 mins away). The area is mostly quiet; there's a garage close by but the mechanics aren't very noisy. Despite the main road being close by, too, you can't hear the traffic at all - but you CAN hear nightingales at night. There are some great bars and restaurants in L'Albir, and there's plenty to do in the area. We loved it and hope to be back some time!
