Nice Cozy Cabin
The cabin was very nice and clean. The property was safe, secluded and quiet. The host was most amazing. She checked in daily via text asking if there was anything needed. I've stayed at a handful of VRBO's and Stacy is top notch compared to the others!

Super nice property.
Perfect for our stay. We went hiking in Talladega National Forest. House was super neat, owner was quick to handle a slight mishap with the property. No big deal to us. Only 2 negative things i could say about the property. 1 the address is a sub address on the property a map wouldve made it a little easier. We figured it out easily enough. 2. Lots of bugs. They were mostly dead or died soon thereafter so they spray for them which is fine to us. But if youre a bug phobe then something to caution you about. But i would 10/10 recommend.

Wow!
The cabin was wonderful! It was welcoming, clean, spacious and well stocked. We love being away from the hustle and bustle of town and everyday life so this was definitely the place for us. It is quiet, relaxing and beautiful. Our host was available and in contact with us asking if we needed anything. We hope to come back to this cabin in the future.

Country Cabin in the Valley
Love at first sight. The country cabin is tucked away off a private road onto 39 acres of a private valley. It was Fall🍁,peaceful, scenic and just what I, my husband and our special needs daughter needed to spend a quiet Thanksgiving away from hot muggy Florida. Stacy is an amazing host and she couldn't do enough for us. Welcoming and warm in a way you'll find only in the South! She stocked the cabin with all the conveniences we needed to enjoy our Thanksgiving. We spent a couple of hours outside around the fire pit, walking around the land and enjoying the scenery (I highly recommend Fall in Alabama!). Added bonus? Megan THEE Dog! Friendliest dog ever! We would come back here in a heartbeat! Thank you for hosting us, Stacy!

Quiet and Relaxing
We wanted a quick getaway. This place was perfect. It was clean and very quiet. All the flowers were blooming around the house and on the porch. They were beautiful. The pool looked very inviting, but after touring the area, we were too tired to get in. The hostess was great. She checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. We didn’t need anything as everything was there. Check-in and out was super easy. Only wish we could have stayed a few extra days, but had to get back home..

Love this place!
This place was absolutely perfect for my husband and I, a hidden treasure. We loved sitting either on the front or back porch listening to the birds and watching the cows, donkeys and horses. The host would send us a text with good morning or good afternoon to see if there was anything we needed, very sweet and kind. The evening we arrived, the lights and TV were on as well as the radio and A/C, what an awesome way to show up after a long flight from Alaska. My husband and I have rented many VRBO’s in various states and have had great experiences and this one ranks at the very top for sure. Thank you Stacy for everything!

Cozy Cabin
Wow! Where do I start? Beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. What more can you ask for? Mrs. Stacy was a great hostess, she was very kind and loving, o think we’ve met a friend for life. I’ve actually decided to buy some land nearby, so when I visit my family they can come visit me. Myself and my soon to be wife enjoyed our time there and have recommended serveral other couples that live in Clay County and Randolph County and they want to come now! Our stay was all that we hoped for...comfy, quiet & cozy. Stacy is Amazing & her attention to detail makes her the best host. She checked in on us daily. First off Stacy was the sweetest. Me and my husband went away for the weekend for my birthday. When we arrived Stacy had bought me a cake. She was to kind. She checked on us daily to see if we needed anything (texting). The property was more gorgeous in person. The pictures truly don’t do it justice. The first day we were there Stacy took us to feed the cows. I had a blast!! The pool was very clean and nice. We can not wait to go back. It was so peaceful and serene.

What a cute and comfy spot to get away from the city for a few days. The property is very peaceful and provided us exactly what we needed to spend some quality outdoor time with our kids. The pool is perfect for an evening swim after your activities , the cabin is very clean and homey, and we really enjoyed roasting marshmallows on the fire pit. Stacy was super attentive to whatever we needed and very kind. Good proximity to lots of nice family activities like hiking and exploring all Alabama has to offer. Highly recommend.

💯⭐️‘s “A place to restore Peace in your life & definitely a place to fill your Soul with Pure Joy!
1st off: The owner goes above & beyond! She was very friendly & so helpful. If I had a question she was always a phone call away & she really & genuinely wants to make her tenants feel at home. It didn’t take me long to feel at home, when the 1st night we were there we went into town to eat. When I was finished I said “I’m ready to go home!” It’s really what it feels like…your own little secluded vacation house. I’m a nature lover & believe me there was tons of it there. The front & back porches were so relaxing. Just listening to the sounds of nature at night. The porches were immaculate too. You can definitely tell Stacy takes A LOT of pride & joy in her property & making her tenants feel at home…she out did herself. Bath Bombs, Air Freshner, Paper Plates & Silverware…the list can go on and on…next time I go I’m just packing clothes & nothing else!! The cabin is so warming & believe me the pictures do not due this cabin justice! The pool was so laid out perfectly with the flowers around it that it felt as if it belonged there. I’m a country girl at heart so I would definitely say this is a +5 star rating. Plenty of attractions, if you love hiking, covered bridges, etc. you will be more than pleased because that’s not all of the attractions. Majestic Caverns was beautiful, especially the light show inside. I will say no more about that, it has to be a surprise. This cabin is also a place where you could never leave. Just stay “home” as I called it. If you love nature, privacy or just need a place to get away from it all & do some soul searching…well this is your place & then some. Believe Me. I did not want to leave & if I get the chance, I know I will, I will be going back!! 💯+ Rating From Me!

The cabin was pristine! The furnishings were lovely and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular!! Stacy was the best!! She made us feel welcome and at home immediately!! She checked to see if we needed anything and we were able to decompress during our stay. We had a great time at the property and exploring the area around it. Our two kids loved running around in the cabin and the yard outside. The owner does a great job of keeping things looking nice. You can tell she spends a lot of time on upkeep with the yard, flowers, the pool, and the cabin. Also appreciated that there were a lot of fans and air purifiers in the cabin to keep the air circulating and clean. The property is secluded and quiet, but within an hour of lots of fun attractions that our boys enjoyed. Owner was very responsive and helpful. We didn't have any problems, but I felt assured she would help us out right away if we did. Would highly recommend the property and the area!

My family and I rented this quaint little cabin to stay in the weekend of my nephews wedding. It was right down the road from the venue. Stacy couldn’t have been any better to work with. She goes out of her way to make sure your stay goes smoothly. The cabin was exactly as pictured and is immaculate. Stacy’s attention to detail was also a nice touch. I would definitely rent this cabin again.

My husband and I stayed here the last two nights of our vacation. The property and cabin were perfect for a nice wind down full of rest and relaxation, so much so we didn't even leave once we arrived. The property is nicely secluded on its own little knoll overlooking rolling lush green fields and farm animals. The pool was so delightful in the warm weather and the comfort of both the front and back porches added a sense of calm and peace to our visit. Inside was just as cozy as outside! Highly recommend this property!!

This is our second time staying here. The country cabin has everything you’d want. The host is beyond welcoming. It’s very quiet, clean, and peaceful. We spent a lot of time in the pool this time, and we visited DeSoto Caverns, which was close. The kids loved it. We wish all our trips could be as wonderful as our trip to the country cabin!

Serene atmosphere to unwind!
My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We wanted a relaxing yet have things to do if we got bored. We got everything we asked for. The cabin was the best place to stay. The owner was very attentive and made sure we had the things we needed. She was even so thoughful to leave a little surprise for us for our 25th. If you want a mixture of peacefulness yet venture out I highly recommended this cabin.

We book this wonderful cabin spur of the moment after our holiday plans changed at the last minute. Stacy is the BEST host ever! She checked on our needs daily and kept us updated on the recent wildfires in Cheaha State Park and when it reopened. Her cabin is beautiful and cozy! It had everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and even had six deer in the front yard one morning! We highly recommend DeSoto Caverns, the Grist Mill and covered bridge and Cheaha State Park. My husband and our best friends decided it’s the best Thanksgiving holiday we’ve had in a long time!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was off the beaten path and perfect for what we were looking for. The owner was easy to communicate with and checked in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. We loved our stay at the country cabin. We booked as a last minute getaway for our family and it did not disappoint. The stars are incredible, sunrise lovely and overall gave our family space and time to slow down together. Mostly we relaxed at the cabin but also found some great BBQ nearby, enjoyed lakeside park and even took a short drive to Holmestead farm to pick muscadines, satsumas and okra as well as shop for fresh produce & jams at their store. Definitely a memorable getaway!

Perfect getaway
It was a perfect getaway for our family! Our two little boys (both under 4 yo) had so much fun running around the property, splashing in the pool, and playing on the front porch. We planned this get-away for my husband’s 66th birthday. We may have to make this a yearly tradition……. It was PERFECT!! So quiet & relaxing !! We ventured out to see DeSoto Caverns, Blue Bell Creamery, the Kymulga Grist Mill & Covered Bridge & a few of the local restaurants, but we absolutely loved the immaculately kept pool and sitting on the porch at night by the light of the full moon!! Stacy (the owner) was remarkable!! She had the Country Cabin beautifully decorated inside & outside!! Anything we could have needed was there!! Then she checked on us every morning & evening via text to see if we needed anything!! Next trip, we may not even leave the cabin! So glad we discovered this jewel !!

This was a great property to get away with family! The owners were so helpful and informative. The pool was a nice plus to the end of a hot day of fishing in the nearby Logan Martin Lake. It was a very enjoyable trip!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our son and us loved the pool (which was very clean) Everything in the cabin was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing weekend. Stacy was amazing at checking in with us in case we needed anything.
